do you have any suggestions for someone who's new to krp? i'm not new to rping in general but i'm really nervous i'll stand out for all the wrong reasons.
Welcome to #KRP, nonnie! There’s no need to be nervous. It’s a little different than what you’d normally see in Western #RPGs since the fandom revolves around KPOP and Korean Idols, but the general role playing concept is still the same.

hello! i hope this question is too odd, i was born in america, but i've recently got extremely intrigued by korean rp. i actually want to, but i'm a little nervous since i don't have many experience or knowledge of the culture or any of the actors, actresses, or singers. do you have any tips for someone who wants to play a korean character that isn't korean themself? i hope this isn't rude? i just want to rp, but the very last thing i want to do is offend someone :/ thank you very much!

Not every KRPer is Korean so there’s no need to be nervous! If you’re worried about offending someone, I would suggest you make a disclaimer somewhere and/or research on the face claim you are role playing (if you decide to go the General/Idol or Semi-Alternate (Semi-AU) route). Good luck!
