💘 Eros’ Gala Ensemble 💝

The love god Eros will be attending the Summer Gala with his fiancée @amaterasuxmp wearing an Alexander McQueen ensemble that harkens to his future bride’s homeland. His pink hair is styled back from his face and the only adornments he chooses to wear are a sun shaped pendant necklace and the engagement band that compliments the yellow diamond ring he has given Amaterasu.

   He’d been tense lately. With the arrival of her brother Tsukiyomi to the island, Eros had kept a polite but aware distance as Ama sorted through things on her own. He had wanted to help her, wanted to try and soothe over years of hurt with a touch of love and understanding. Of course, he had read about her family, had heard ancient stories through time, and even had witnessed great celestial events with his own younger eyes-- but he didn’t know them. He’s home again waiting up on her to return from her meeting with them again when he hears her come back in.

  “Hey, welcome home,” he greets her from where he’s seated on this couch, book in his hands and a mug of one of their favorite teas on the nearby end table. “How was it? Did they give you too much hel--”

  His words are cut off as Ama takes the collar of his shirt in her hands and gives it a pull. “Okay, okay,” he laughs and supplies her with a kiss, hands coming up to cradle her face. They’re warm and smell like he’s been working with his aphrodisiac chocolates again! Eros pulls her too, down onto the couch with him now and onto his lap. “I’ve kissed you now tell me about you da--” his words catch in his throat.

   Her hands are running down his back, teasing at the space where his wings are glamoured away. Oh! Eros’ already pink hair deepens in color to a deeper tone. “Well, why didn’t you just say so?” The god relaxes his magic and his wings come back into regular view. The confines of the couch make him raise them up slightly, their golden color catching the daylight in the room and painting it with a warm tone. “You’ve trapped me~” he chuckles as his hands set the book down and then move to rest on her hips. Eros grins mischievously before slides his hands just a little lower. “I don’t suppose you wanted to those out for while I’m listening to your day huh?”

Eros chuckles as he pauses in making the whipped icing they need for the cake. He knows a thing or two about baking up sweets and breads and the god has a fondness for a certain British baking show. “I wouldn’t be one to protest the idea beautiful.”

He scoops just a little icing up with his finger and then boops it on his wife’s nose before fully laughing. The pastel purple frosting looks cute on her and quickly he moves to kiss it away. “It might be just a little unfair though for the others— making sweet things is somewhat my speciality.~” He stops the whisking fully now and holds it up to her for inspection.

Amaterasu had an endless number of books and tomes she considered special. However the one she was wrapping currently was possibly the most nerve-wracking one of all. In her research about mortal marital customs and traditions, she had stumbled upon this particular practice. She was intrigued and curious about it, and after much pondering decided to gift her beloved Eros with a wedding present. She had enlisted Taemin’s help with it and it was finally ready, the eve of her wedding to her favorite Love god.

She wrote on the note slipped just above the tissue paper. 

I was told it was tradition to gift a groom a photo album of a bride’s boudoir. I am gifting all of myself to you.

  It was near insulting if Eros is honest with himself as he looks at the suggested venue book they have spread open before them. He hates that one, that one looks like a Macy’s catalog, and that one...well.. he flips the page before Ama can really get a look at it herself because he already knows it’s subpar to her likings. After several minutes of this Eros’ fingers push gently at the glossy paged book and close it even as his fiancee is leaning to inspect another place.

  “Outrageous as it is,” his hand comes out to gently take hold of her chin and turn her face to look at him. “I still want us to look at all of the options we have available to us. Just..maybe not right now.” With a small laugh, he leans himself where he sits on the couch beside her to kiss at her lips.
