Wearing a slightly drowsy expression, the shorter man shrugged a little, no hint of annoyance on his features. True, he had been awoken as his friend had moved through the apartment, but it wasn’t exactly as if he was deep in blissful, comfortable sleep. “It’s okay, I was sorta awake anyway. But why’re you still up?” True he knew Asahi had never really been a morning person, and sometimes his thoughts kept him up at night, but he was surprised that the brunet was up this late. 

Hurriedly grabbing the corpse’s hands and helping Jude lift it, the Exterminator began to quickly shuffle around, starting to lead the doctor over to a pile of crates. They didn’t have any better hiding spot for the body in that moment. 

Really, Noya had been tuning out the movie for a while now, instead watching his boyfriend’s features as he enjoyed the Disney film. True, they didn’t watch this one all that much - what with Hima demanding The Little Mermaid and Sakura quietly requesting Cinderella or Princess and the Frog - but they had still seen it enough times for Noya to know yes, it was never going to keep his attention. What was holding his attention, however, was the adorable expressions Asahi was making. Smiling so tenderly as he allowed himself to relax and just enjoy the film he loved so much. 

Damn he wanted to kiss him. 

He hadn’t even noticed his own hand slipping up Asahi’s thigh until that yelp escaped him, involuntarily digging his finger tips into the flesh in surprise, but his hand stayed. Offering a smile, there was a hint of caution there too. True, they’d shared kisses and a few touches that strayed from more innocent areas, but the two of them had yet to go further than that. Probably because Noya knew how long it had been since either of them had done something of that nature. 

But fuck he wanted to. 

Hearing Asahi’s little hiss, the libero was wincing in slight apology, before inspecting the wound again. The senior Azumane was still busy working, so when Asahi had returned from his quick trip to the corner store with his injury, Noya had decided to take it upon himself to tend to him. If only he actually knew what exactly to do.

“You were only gone fifteen minutes Asahi! Next time I’m coming with you!” It was only a simple scolding, more out of concern than anything else, but how had Asahi managed it? Either way, the glass couldn’t stay there: it’d just get infected and hurt more. 

Hearing the yelp that certainly hadn’t come from the malamute beside him, the athlete was more than a little amused at the sight of the half asleep Asahi. He’d only been gone for an hour, and his boyfriend had managed to doze off in that time? Must have been shattered, Noya mused to himself. 

Midway through taking his bag off, the libero was so used to Chikara’s instructions that he’d said it without thinking, trying to look innocent as he made sure to stand away from the desk. Especially with that dark look that Daichi was wearing. “Look! I ain’t touching nothing!”
