@xamassedâ asked: He left one bite to her neck â soft and fleeting â before he moved his lips closer to the front of her throat, the next bite harder and slightly more bruising. "Did you miss me as much as I missed you?" ( gavin )
As a high ranking officer, Gavin spent more time on missions than he did at home, and Alice felt like she held herself pretty well against the anxiety of waiting for him to return safely while heâs out there keeping everyone else safe. Experience taught her that she could keep her cool during his absence for up to a week, but after the count of seven days, worry would take hold of her thoughts, running wild with every what if scenario until it plagued her dreams. A fortnight of radio silence left her on the verge of madness, only for it all to dissipate so easily at the sight of him walking through her front door for once - using the key sheâd given him, no less.
Good thing she wasnât holding anything. They would have ended up on the floor as she sprinted towards him, throwing herself onto his arms if only to make sure he was really there. A small part of her felt silly, embarrassed even, at how desperately relieved she was. But the weight of his grip spoke loud and clear: heâd been craving this closeness too.
Their mouths found their way to one another before even saying anything, but truthfully, there was no need for words. Only the taste of him could satisfy the longing in her soul that yearned for its other half, and she gave herself to his kiss wholeheartedly. Everything else went out of focus, and suddenly she was off the ground, strong hands picking her up with ease and pressing her against the wall. Her legs parted to make way for him to come even closer, holding him there where he belonged.
Alice had no time to whine her complaint when he broke from their hungry kiss, humming instead when his teeth closed gently, teasingly on her skin. The next bite had her moaning just under a heavy breath, throwing her head back in offering as her hand sunk into the softness of the hair at the back of his neck, the added pressure of her touch encouraging him to keep going. Please.
Gavin was a gentleman through and through, and was always careful when it came to hickeys. His concern only made her love him more, but his instinct to mark her resonated so strongly with her desires that she could hardly think. âYes..!â Her voice sounded odd even to her own ears, hoarse in a mixture of both plea and demand for more. âBaby... Mark me.â She wanted to feel that wonderful sting that came with the imprints of his touch, to carry the physical proof of having given herself and belonging to him. And she needed him to promise to do so again whenever he was leaving for another long mission, so she could admire the shape of his kisses and the grip of his fingers and feel him still there with her.Â
