librarian annd page...........................77. yes.
It was a weird experience. To think that the two of them were both mutual… acquaintances… of Oliver’s.
To think that they had discovered this by visiting the guy in the hospital and seeing each other. If it were up to him, he wouldn’t even be here. There was… some sort of obligation pulling him, though. It might have had to do with the fact that he was the reason for Oliver’s hospitalization.
Forrest bit his lip and pushed away the resounding awkwardness he felt so suddenly around them. Grabbed the medical report at the end of his bed, opened the folder, rifled through it. Were he very sensitive, he would have left Cancey and the currently-unconscious Oliver to their heartfelt visit. But emotions are for squares.
None of the medical terms made any sense. He flipped to the very last page and [ focused on the final paragraph. This contained no medical shorthand. ]
“Well,” he said finally, snapping the folder closed and tucking it back into its slot. “At least he’s not going to die.”
