The atmosphere in the office is...especially tense. Most people heard what had happened...and Date’s mostly trying to avoid eye contact of literally anyone. He’s signing paperwork with a level of commitment and dedication that’s rarely seen in anyone for something as dull as police forms.
He’s determined to not even look up until the end of his shift, after which he will exit the building as quickly as possible while looking at the ground, but a small cough catches his attention. He looks up to see a girl standing next to his desk with a look of...concern? Date feels vaguely like he’s seen her around the office before...
It takes a moment longer for him to connect the dots, mostly because he’s never really spoken to her before.
“Ah, you’re...Alfendi’s sister, right?”
He’d seen them talk pretty often, and she had dropped by the office quite a few times. Still, he wonders if maybe she’s looking for her brother...
“Um...If you were looking for Fendi, I think...”
Date leans back in his chair to look over at Fendi’s desk, but he wasn’t there. Hm. Where was the last place Date had seen him?
“He might be in the break room, actually. You might want to check there.”
