Partially gloved fingers grasped the rockface tightly, as the monk slowly worked his way up. Taking a moment to breathe, he rested his foot in a recess in the wall, sweat rolling down his face.
The seeker enjoyed these thrills. The heights, the dangers, even the challenge made O'raha want to do climbs like this. He only brought what he needed for a climbâboots, shorts, gloves, his backpack of rations, waterskin, and his goggles. His only accessories were several necklaces he wore, one containing his soul stone. Long hair tied back into a snug ponytail, the miqo'te grinned.
He was getting there. Pushing himself back upwards, he began the rest of his climb. Not many joined him when he went out like this, but he'd be sure to bring back a small trinket for his girlfriend. He'd ask her to go, but the dizzying heights would've made her uncomfortable.
"It'd take longer, but I could take her with me if she'd want tâ..." he commented to no one, hoisting himself up onto a smaller ledge. He could climb carrying someone, but he figured Clover wouldn't be too much of a fan of that.
Ears perked up at the idea of carrying the elezen with him on a treasure hunt one day. She did trust him, and the thought of having to carry her up a rock face as he climbed make him blush. Clover wasn't the one for too much affection or closeness, but he could lose time a little in his thoughts by himself. He did desire to be more affectionate with her, but it would take time for her to be comfortable with it.
"If she wouldn't squeak like a kitten.." he added on face faulting into a small laugh, as he finally reaching the top. With a swift roll, the seeker landed on his feet, sitting down to take in the view of the landscape. Sometimes he needed one of these climbs to get a clearer image of what he wanted to do for something.
As he laid back, he felt a sharp pain under him, as he jumped up, fists rose to look for his foe. His gaze turned downwards, as he spotted something shiny on the ground. He knelt, dusting off the sands to clear the ore in the rock.
"What's this?" he asked, grasping it by the top and yanking it out of the stone. upon closer inspection, it appeared to be some kind of gem, a dark forest green one at that.
It reminded him of Clover. A soft, dark hue that instantly made his thought go back to the reason he made this climb.
"How would I go about it anyways? It took her long enough to realize I loved her, so is it pushing to want to bond?" he wonders, slipping the ore chunk into his sling bag. He flops back onto the ground, watching the sky as the clouds roll by.
"Is it asking too much of her to be my wife?" he questions himself, closing his eyes. He didnât want to jepordize the valuable relationship they shared, but at the same time, he wanted to take the next step...
