The fever burning up zitaoâs body from the inside was causing his head to spin in pain. Dizziness taking over him, loud music hitting his ears making it even harder for him to focus on the overwhelming world around him.
Sipping on a drink he did not even remember getting the man let the faceless mass of people engulf him. The mixture of sounds and colorful lights had him almost trip and fall out of the crowd only to find himself by the bar again. The neverending pain eating him out from the inside and as if that wasnât enough the feeling of loneliness creeped upon him.
Glancing to the sides with widely opened eyes he looked for a friendly looking person. He honestly needed that little bit of closeness of affection.
A figure of a quite handsome looking man moved closer to him. The stranger was probably thinking of getting another drink for himself but zitao was not only drunk himself but also the pain of his miserable life was so horrendous he could not care about the weirdness of what he was about to do.
His body leaned forward, chipped lips brushing over the latterâs smooth chin in a gentle peck.
Almost immediately the man pulled back from him, obviously surprised by zitaoâs action. Who could have blamed him though? Zitao kept staring at him. His widened pupils showing how desperate for a warmth from another human being he was.
As the latter spoke Zitaoâs lips pressed into a line as he nodded slowly, trying his best to stop his damaged body from shaking under the feverâs infulance.
ââŚwhat kind of a drink would you like?â If buying the latter alcohol was going to give him even the slightest amout of affection he was going to do it. Honestly he was going to do anything to be treated well just this once.
The original plan wasnât drinking that much, but it happened, fate wanted things to go like that, or at least that was he going to tell himself the next morning when lady hungover make him a visit. Who would he trick? Everyone knew he was going to party hard when his enlistment date was so close, just a couple of days away. Though he was working hard on many different things at the same time and he was tired, JJ didnât want to lose any second, sleeping seemed to be a waste of time when your life was about to be cut down.
His glass was empty, and his glass couldnât be empty, not even half empty. So he made his way to the bar through people, the place was crowded but it wasnât impossible to move without being harassed in the intent, and no one seemed to recognize him so far, or at least no one made it obvious, giving him some freedom to enjoy himself. He ordered his drink when the stranger gave him a sudden kiss, without warning and not letting the browned haired man an option to react until the kiss was given and he was laughing with his hand on his face. âShouldnât I get a drink first, at least?â He said, not even realizing his words, he wasnât serious at all, but it was the common thing to say and JJ lacked a brain-to-mouth filter. And God knew he needed it.Â
And just looking the stranger beside him for a few seconds more, leaning on the counter, he noticed something odd, he was drunk but his caring self, wasnât that wasted, the man seemed to be shaking and pale, or maybe the flashing lights in the club and the loud music plus the many glasses before the one the bartender just put in front of him, were playing with his mind and he was seeing things where there was nothing. âForget the drink, it was a joke... Hey, man, you okay?â His laugh disappeared but he was still smiling warmly and placed his hand on the strangerâs shoulder, looking him straight to his face.Â
