When the Earis was little, they would make little sock puppets based off the book characters they loved and would put on puppet shows, acting out the scenes
they still have those puppets, their favorite being a little snake they made
The Barista is constantly singing around the safe house, they don’t usually realize they’re doing it. when Elias catches them singing, he joins in, harmonizing :]
Elias also knows exactly how to get a song stuck in their head and purposely does so with songs he knows will drive them c r a z y
Love collected rocks and little shiny things, and bones, and when Xanthus found this out, he made a point to look for them while walking anywhere. They always get excited when he says he has something for them, as it usually is a small rock or something shiny. Xanthus jokes that they’re like a crow when it comes to rocks and shiny things. They prefer the term goblin.
Super V plays DnD and is a stupidly talented actor, I feel like they must be a fantasy nerd given the: you got drunk and pretended to be a pirate bit, so I think they’d be the type that gets so very in character while playing. they even manage to get Leigh into a campaign, to say he was shocked to find out they play was an understatement
Isaac and Pickle love to do book exchanges, where they each start a book at the same time, and when they finish, usually around the same time, they switch, and then talk about what they read. Zaros learned sign language to piss the Earis off because they couldn’t understand him, they, in turn, learned it in secret, and one day as he was trash talking in sign, signed right back without missing a beat. The Earis just smirked at the shock on his face. Xanthus and Love enjoy having paint fights. It usually starts as a painting date, but inevitably ends with them wrestling in the grass, trying to paint the other. Xanthus, being a vampire, could obviously overpower them, but he likes to let the win. Sometimes
The Earis loves to make flower crowns. When they were first becoming friends with Zaros, they made him one. he still has it, he made sure to dry it properly so it wouldn’t go bad. when the weather permits, Andrew and Darling go on bike rides. They usually bike to a park to have a picnic and read together. Gumpy and Tristian routinely binge watch all of Steven Universe. It’s a show they’ve both loved forever and they talk about it often.
Dontis taught the hunter how to slow dance, it has become one of their favorite things to do with him, just existing in the kitchen with him as stars come out, dancing in the small space of their apartment. Pet really enjoys escape rooms, the more difficult it is, the better.
Isaac and Pickle have fallen into a routine where Pickle cooks dinner, and Isaac makes something for desert. Bonus: when Isaac is washing the dishes, because he usually insists on doing so, pickle loves to “help” by hugging into him from behind while grabbing his hands to wash them too.
