What We're Trading
The XLE put activity we cited on CNBC's Fast Money Halftime Report yesterday have doubled (100% profit) and with the break through $74 for WTI we may have a triple by noon!
BLOX - Infoblox beat EPS forecasts on stronger revenues, shares exploding higher by over 10% on the TradeMONSTER extended hours platform.
HPQ - We picked up on the unusually strong put activity yesterday in HPQ and reported same to our subscribers. Shares down only 1%, but while I am mid-term (3 to 6 months) bullish on what Meg Whitman is doing with the company, I think shares could hit $36 before a bounce takes hold. CTRP - Shares slammed 12% in the pre after the Chinese consolidator of airfares and hotel rooms lowered guidance.
ADI - As Kelly Evans broke on Closing Bell last night, Analog Devices beat EPS forecasts on stronger revenue, shares holding better than 4% gain here. DE - Deere & Co beat estimates on strong revenue, but lowered guidance, thus shares slip 3% in the pre. This isn't just weak guidance folks this is damn near disaster. Equipment sales are forecast to fall 15% for the year and to be down about 21% for the first fiscal quarter. Net income for the year is now estimated at $1.9 billion, down from $3.16 billion in 2014. SDRL - Seadrill missed EPS forecasts on stronger revenues AND THEN, suspended the dividend! Shares tumble 10% in the pre.
