Matter of Unimportance
black-rose-autumn
熊 - It was not the first time the Bear’s size was the start of a ‘conversation’. In which was somebody asking them to move.
Not that they were the largest member of Beacon by any stretch of the means. There were, without doubt, others who were probably taller than themselves. Yet, they towered over most of the others and for all that awkwardness of trying to stay out of the way, it was bound to happen sooner or later.
In this case though, it might not just have been their own mass either. The student in question was… on the verge of small. The sort of small that compounded the problem of Alioth’s own size and made everything just that much worse.
Their paw of a hand reaching up to the back of their collar to tug at cloth before they mummbled a noise in response to the child and ducked out of the way as requested. Well, at least she had been polite about it.

熊 - The night was a clear one. The starts peeking down at people up in the night sky, their light visible to those in the dimly lit courtyard of the school. A sight that wasn't easily found in the cities, with their street lights and opened stores that diffused their own glow for the stars above to hide within.
The bear wasn't sure, but there weren't any actual rules against late night students. Yet it was rather expected that none of them really stayed up beyond a certain time, especially considering classes in the morning that they had to attend. As of such, they weren't really sure what to make of the fact that they weren't alone here.
That somebody else had staked a claim to the cool air and open grass. Not that it was territory to claim to begin with. Yet it was that sort of peace that they weren't sure they wanted to disrupt. So they stood there, a little awkwardly at that, shifting their weight from one foot to another.
Well, no doubt this stranger was a student here, which meant that she was probably already aware of the Bear's presence. So they sighed, rubbing their cheek with the side of their hand before clearing their throat to announce their presence. Hopefully, they weren't disturbing things too much.

熊 - There were some interesting histories that could be found upon the large luxury liner known as the Clockwork Casino. Some tales that became infamous and others that were never shared.
Blake was one of the former, Bear was really one of the latter. Then again, the feline Faunus was relatively new to the staff numbers. The large burly beast known only as Bear though... well, they've been around on the ship for a while.
"Everything checks out," the words came in a rumble as they ambled into the room so much without knocking and slumped straight into the pile of sheets left in a corner. Burying into the blankets until they were pretty much nothing but a pair of eyes peeking out from fur and cloth. "Everyone checked. Other passengers safe."
It was a statement that would have passed off as redundant to any one was listening in. Yet, Blake knew what the Bear was talking about.

熊 - It wasn't as though the Bear never entered the main campus. It was simply that most people never really saw the bear entering or leaving. Not quite hiding, but just not exactly searching for company either.
It was easy to be missed when one was seeking out a place where there was peace and quiet for a nap or just a rest. It usually meant going to places with less people. Less people meant less of a chance of being seen in the first place. Really, that was all there was to it.
They stood there in the courtyard as the evening sun slowly started to set. Most students either back in their dorms or busy getting somewhere else to really notice. Yet there the Bear stood, looking up at the tree. Judging if this was really a good place or not for what they had in mind.
It was quiet enough. The tree was certainly sturdy enough too. So it was just... Well, it would have to wait. It seemed they weren't alone anymore.

That One Ship
熊鲛 - "Wait till I get in contact with your boss! I'll have you fir-" The man's rambling cut short as the large form threw him off the ramp and onto the solid surface of the dock. Whispers surrounding them starting to brew as people passed, passing to embark upon other ships or even this particular ship in question.
It hovered in the air, an impressive sight even for any luxury liner. The air about it shimmering with the shields that helped to repel the Grimm and elements. It's paintwork still glossy as if just applied.
The large bear ran their hand through already ruffled hair. A sort of resigned sign in their body language before they turned about, heading back into the ship to make sure that none of their other guests decided to get themselves escorted even before they left the dock. Honestly, to come onto such a ship with alcohol in their breath and trying to put their hands on one of the employees right up from the start...
The glanced down, tugging upon their coat. Well, the Bear supposes that they can't really make too much of a comment on that. Looking the way they did.
"Nobody minds the way you dress or smell you lout." The smooth voice came from in the passageway. The elegant form resting against the wall with their arms crossed. Sharp teeth bared in a grin as the shark snapped her fingers.
"Come now Bear. The big boss called for us. Don't want to leave the man waiting. I believe it might have something to do with our secondary cargo."
Silentium Codex
熊 - The library felt a lot like home sometimes. Shelves of books differing little from stacks of other objects if one thinks about it the right way. It was a place that was a collection of things, albeit a much larger place that housed a collection of just one thing. It was the idea behind it all that was fundamentally the same.
Well, there was probably less dust within a Library. Lesser Dust too.
The bear reached up, tugging at one of the books upon the upper shelves. An eye flickering over the spine before pushing it back again with a rumbling noise of resignation. "It's not here. Should be. Isn't." A pause as they shook their head. "Somebody has it. Probably."
