The universe of Don’t Forget is by far my favorite in all 7 years of my fanfic endeavors. BUT it is heavily inspired by the anime “Orange” which some keen readers and anime watchers may have picked out. (Although none have expressed this to me yet!) Thank you for being able to appreciate the amount of work and thought I put into it.

Be sad but not too sad! Remember what Y/N said/felt towards the end: “And now that you have finally closed this chapter, now that you have finally stepped out of his umbrella, you were able to take a good look around you. And you realised the rain had long stopped falling.”

I always looked forward to doing my afterthoughts because 1) it meant I’d come to the end of a (probably) very long and tough journey, 2) there was so much that went on behind the scenes that I felt was a waste if readers didn’t know about, and 3) it was something unique to my blog (never saw anyone else do it) and helped build a more intimate relationship between myself and my readers. Thank you for noting my improvement! Although admittedly, looking back at it an entire year and a half months later is quite cringeworthy. There are so many stylistic things I want to fix! Then again I suppose that’s another sign of improvement too :-)

To answer your question, that’s a certain no. Too much time has passed between them, and Jimin himself did say he wanted to let go now. There are more ways I can explain it, but I think this sentence on Y/N’s thoughts regarding Jimin’s current position in her life just about sums it up, and with enough room for your own creative rights as a reader! It goes: “[it was a kind of love] where you were ever-ready to jump into his world and offer a helping hand, but built fences to keep him out of yours.”

It’s been slightly less than a year since I halted all activity on this blog. I did this believing I would someday come back, so there was no announcement or obligatory hiatus posts. I didn’t want to bind myself to anything, be it the promise to return or the finality of goodbye. At that time I was also convinced no one would care anyway.

I’ve been coming back to check up on the notifications for this blog every now and then; actively in the first few months since I decided to leave it, and then sporadically as I settled into the new blog that I had established under a new brand, new alias. I’d wanted a fresh start, to venture into new territories unburdened by the image that I had crafted previously, hence I remained silent about this migration on both platforms.

I was planning to continue as such, but after seeing all the love and attention taekwonduh, specifically my precious baby “Voyage”, has been belatedly receiving, it would be rude to not address it in some way.

I have love letters from anons and readers from several months back sitting in my inbox, collecting dust alongside the newer anons who’ve found their way to my blog after a recommendation or two by some kind fellow bloggers/content creators.

I thought I needed to be accountable to you guys, at the very least.

I’ve read all the messages, absorbed all the love and appreciation, and I am so, so thankful and amazed at how many people I’ve managed to reach out to through this very dear piece of mine. But I cannot deny the underlying regret when I think about how different things could be had the attention come sooner, or perhaps, if I had found it in myself to hang on a little longer to what I had thought was a business going bust.

But regrets are just that. They are there to be looked at, pinched and pulled and sighed over. I have nothing more to say regarding that matter, I can tell you surely that I’ve poured every last word I had in me into this blog. So!

Here is a separate post to address some of the messages I’ve received since my inactivity. You may notice repetition in my responses, only because I feel like I’ve expressed my gratitude enough over the year I ran this blog.

Taekwonduh will remain as it has been since my inactivity for anyone who finds comfort in Voyage or any of my other work. 

Lastly, now that I’ve openly announced my presence on a second blog, I want to extend an invitation to anyone who is still keen on watching me grow as a content creator and blogger. Drop me a pm for my new URL.

Awww hahaha that’s so cute!! There are so many fresh faces that I’m kind of overwhelmed. I only really know the NU’EST dudes. Looking out for that Taiwanese guy tho!
