The story puts the characters you love in very unsavory and inappropriate situations you'd rather not see

I love that when you listen to this song using at least a decent pair of headphones, you can tell they MADE EFFORT in the placement of everyone during the recording session. Louder instruments sound farther away, while the quieter ones, like the piano and the bass, sound clearer because they're nearer. You don't see the effect these days because studios tend to produce things differently. Clearner, yeah, but very artificial sounding sometimes. Like, when you listen to this old song, it feels like the band is in your room. There is something warm about how they sound. Meanwhile some newer songs just feel like...just there? Loud? Can't explain it but I think these two here are the best examples to demonstrate what I mean:

This scene from Ishmael Bernal's Himala visited my mind once again. This is not as iconic as Nora Aunor's "Walang Himala, ang himala ay nasa puso ng tao" bit, but I think this scene got more weight for those who intend to touch. And Nimia is such a cool, underrated character.

It does two things so subtly (?) you kinda miss it if you're just watching casually, or just watching the movie for a school assignment. In fact, the whole movie is just like that, which is very rare nowadays.

This game is so random looool Asuka and Lili just got married, while Kazuya is crying, and Lae'zel is singing her heart out in her frog costume.

Alternate Shadowzel, where Shadowheart accepted Shar and became a DJ, while Lae'zel rejected Vlaakith and joined Orpheus. It's just so tragic, I can't stop thinking about the possible reunion between them.
