This one definitely requires a bit more context: I have a set of headcanons in regards to Yagami and Higashi after the events of JE. Yagami, in general, is still feeling the affects of his head injury even months after the confrontation at the ADDC.
After the adrenaline of the fight finally ran dry, Yagami collapsed and it scared the hell out Higashi. Yagami, thankfully, survived the encounter, but obviously not without several physical and emotional scars. Fearful that he'll never fully recover his eyesight again, he's terrified of what that would mean for his work and Kaito's rent. On top of that, he's still grappling with the grief following Matsugane's death and the still ever-present guilt in regards to Emi's death. He's struggling to keep himself together.
Higashi had been avoiding Yagami through everything. He was still shaken by witnessing Yagami's near-death.
And then one day, he unexpectedly wakes up in Yagami's office, barely able to see anything and a sensitivity to the light peeking through the blinds. He gets a call from himself? From Yagami, in his body, and they make arrangements for Yagami to meet Higashi at the office.

last but not least, day 7 of nishikiryu week! the free day! :] so i went to meme territory with the birth our sweet girlie, kaori.
as you can see, she looks........ a lot like her father. i regret to inform you all, that she keeps that angry resting expression for the rest of her days lmao. i won't go too into it, to avoid making this post long, but she'll be on my oc carrd whenever i finally finish it. :] so i hope you'll be interested in reading all of that at some point.

day 6 of nishikiryu week :') the prompt was aging
thinking about this au definitely brings up just... so many questions. there's a lot of logistics i need to consider and think about as i develop it. but for this i thought about how nishiki would handle the end of IW. he wouldn't take it calmly, that's for sure. i know that seeing kiryu like that would devastate him.

day 5! :] the prompt I chose for this day was tattoos. not as much to say about this. i remember the thought behind this one was kiryu putting sunscreen on nishiki to prevent more damage to his scarred skin, and that's about it.

day 1 of nishikiryu week from last year :] the prompt was frozen treats & summer drinks. I have a whole au with nishikiryu, like i do with a majority of the ships I created shipkids for. again, guess this'll be a means of getting some people to realize whether they fuck w/ me or not
but yeee, i guess i'll post all of these in a row like i did before. i'm still proud of how this one turned out, even if I would've edited it differently nowadays. I still really like it.

anica will have a page of her own once i finally finish working on my carrd. for now, just know that i love her and tsukumo does too. they were online friends for a long while before yagami helped tsukumo out of his unhealthy living situation, and tsukumo would ask yagami to help anica with the same. they started dating, finally, not much longer after that. :]
