Yeah, I probably could've done that. But, well, here we are, partner! I'll go first on the introductions!
You guys can call me Juliana--or Juli, for short! I've been a student at Naranja Academy for a year and a half now--and it turns out you can do a lot in that time! I wound up accomplishing a lot! Champion, beater of Team Star, a-and other stuff... Though you'll find I'm waaay more interested in learning about history, nowadays. I think I've got all of Naranja's library read by now...alright, your turn, partner!
Really? Must I? ...I suppose I've little choice. My name is of no importance, but you may call me 'Green' if you wish to designate a name for me. As Miss Juliana has stated, I am something of a partner to her research into the legends of Paldea. It is a pleasure, I suppose.
We'll be talking a lot about our findings and hopefully posting a lot about what we can find--we're especially interested in finding out more about the Treasures of Ruin in this region, and finding out more about their history! But we're also down to battle! So feel free to talk to us!
HELLO welcome to another ~bad sable decision~, this time presenting: an AU Juliana who has been living rent free in my head for months! Time to pay-up and become an actual blog girliepop.
Anyway. As for how this Juliana is AU? It's very simple: girlie here got fused with Wo-Chien after shit went VERY decidedly awry during The Way Home. I'm going to hopefully reveal the details very slowly, but this Juliana is actually a little more villainous in nature, though in a very innocent sort of way. She's already freed Wo-Chien and I'm sure you can all figure out what's going to be the gimmick of this blog a bit. :3c
Some ground rules!
Juliana is a minor. If I see even a singular anon getting weird I will utilize the block button liberally, so don't be weird.
Juliana's circumstances are...I'll be honest, they're a fair amount darker because she did technically fail to stop the Paradise Protection Protocol herself and basically told her world's version of Nemona/Arven/Penny to run for their lives. And it haunts her. Oh does it haunt her. But while she technically lost, Wo-Chien basically won the rest of the fight and got Juliana out, though nobody is really aware of the whole. Fusion situation. As a result, some things have changed--particularly the Teal Mask, it plays out VERY differently here, and Juliana received no invitation to go to Blueberry as a result. And yes, she's basically kind of a villain now. :3c
Any description of the fusion and stuff will be kept minimal but uh. Just a general warning for body horror if you do decide to ask. Please do not fuck around and find out without proper prep. 🙏
More details of her canon circumstances will come out in time as she answers asks, and I ask simply for no godmodding! I may let some details slip OOC early but don't bring them up until I feel the time is right please!
Let me know if you're not okay with Juliana or Green interacting! Green is going to be keeping up a facade as a Totally Normal Human, but I imagine it's not going to take rocket science to figure out what Green is hiding. But I am treating canon like silly putty here, and Green will interact with people of their own accord. If you're not cool with that, let me know. Or if you want Green and not Juliana, or neither, just let me know!
Yes there are two Koraidon on the trainer card. Juliana does not fight with either of them despite Bitey basically being that one meme with the cat on the stairs going "FATHER I CRAVE VIOLENCE". And Buddy is basically still scared shitless of battle! So she basically only fights with three of her Pokemon, but she is pretty strong despite the handicap.
Juliana herself can tap into Wo-Chien's moveset. She absolutely HATES doing so, though. She pretty much only ever uses Protect in a panic, usually, but uh. I figured I'd bring that up in case anyone asked!

This ask game is intended to help you figure out the basic three pillars of character building - who are they, what do they want, what are they like? You can treat it like a traditional ask game and have people send in questions/send some to yourself, or you can just use it as a reference to help figure out who your character is. Knowing your character's situation, goals, and personality is also going to help you figure out how to start like, 99% of IC interactions. And while it is great to have this stuff figured out before you make a blog, I know a lot of us (myself included) tend to make things on a whim and then figure the details out as you go. This is intended to help you out with that! So without further rambling;
Situation
What are they? Human, hybrid, or other?
If you asked them 'what are you' what would they say?
How did they come to be whatever they are? If they're a hybrid, how? If not, how were they raised?
Where do they live? In the city, country, or suburbs? What kind of house/apartment is it?
Why are they there? Did they move there intentionally, have they always been there, or were they placed there by some external force?
Do they have any sort of connection with their community?
What do they do all day? Do they have responsibilities, hobbies, or habits?
If you have multiple muses on the same blog, why do they share a blog? The in character reason, not the reason that suits you ooc.
Goals
What do they want?
Why do they want it?
How are they trying to get it?
What's standing in their way to get it right now? (this one is important! Conflict drives story and all that)
What are they willing to do to get what they want? What are they not willing to do?
Personality
What are they like? Energetic, lethargic, sarcastic, mean, happy, mischievous, etc.
What made them like this? Is there a piece from their situation or background that contributed to their general personality, or are they just Like That innately?
Strengths and weaknesses is a reductive way to look at traits. Name some traits that help them in some situations but hinder them in other (i.e. being stubborn/willful, intelligent/too cerebral, relaxed/weak willed, etc)
Do they have any quirks? Either in their blogging style or their general demeanor.
Does their inner sense of self match what they project on the outside?
Once you have the three areas above figured out, you can base your interactions on how the blog your interacting with intersects with one of the above. Are they in a similar situation? Further along in a similar goal? A roadblock to their goal maybe? Is their personality the same or opposite to yours? And so on. Keeping intentionality in your interactions and the above three pillars in mind will help you figure out how to talk to people while building a unique and interesting character that people will actually want to talk back to.

Indeed. They can prove quite informative and engaging, and though I infinitely prefer a book to absorb knowledge from...I cannot deny that a movie does have a way of sticking to one for longer.
Green is the best friend I could ever ask for! They always look out for me and try to be here for me, even when it gets hard sometimes. They're always here to support me if I fall down, if anything happens to me--I couldn't ask for a better friend. I trust them with my life and more.

I wish they'd answer some of my questions, though. I...I really do trust them, but there's a lot they keep even from me. I worry about it. But I trust them implicitly. They'll come to me if they need to. When they can trust me fully.
...Miss Briar kind of weirds me out sometimes, but she's probably the one who believes in me the most. I really feel like I can talk to her about anything, and even if she goes about it in an odd way, she's really, really supportive.
I like that about her. I don't want to disappoint her. I won't allow myself to disappoint her.
...She's a good woman. She is a valuable and intelligent ally, and I do genuinely enjoy her company when she speaks to me. I enjoy hearing of her writing and offering what advise I can.
I do hope she learns to think before she speaks one of these days, however. She is quite fond of shoving her foot in her mouth from time to time.

Ah. Hrm. If you are ill prepared for what lies inside of the shrine, I would advise calling someone immediately. Provided you were not the one who opened said shrine, of course--I cannot imagine they'll send anyone less than La Primera out to take care of this matter, but what lies in there is inarguably the most dangerous, and most innocent of the ruinous treasures.
The sword of ruin, Chien-Pao, is an innocent and distractable creature according to legend, but very dangerous. It's 'play' makes it able to cause avalanches that could very well wipe out places such as Glaseado or Montenevera in minutes, but if you can lure it lower down the mountain--maintaining your own safety in the process, of course--there will be less danger involved.
Admittedly...this is only based on conjecture, and may not help you in the moment. But you need to exercise caution, and if you can find a method to distract it, do so.
