Tabby nodded, it made sense to just treat them normally. It was unlikely she would even know they were a shifter unless they said anything or showed her. She would be worried about meeting one randomly but she was strong enough to at least get away from any danger. “You mean like the Queen.” Tabby blurted out when he said not to use magic for evil, the only evil magic user she could really think of at the moment was either her or Pitch. “I wouldn’t want to be like her.. I like doing fun things with magic. Not hurting people.” She explained, chewing her lip, smiling a bit at his shock of Emery’s age. “Yeah, he proposed on her 19th birthday, so it’s been a fast relationship really, but they’re happy so I’m happy..” Tabby said, smiling at him. “Well, if they’re as nice as you, I’m sure we would. It would be interesting to see the interaction, I’ve never known a little sister being more mature than her older sister.”
Bones smiled a little “Aye, I mean her. Tabby you need to be careful about who you say stuff like that to. Now I have issues with the Queen so I’m not a threat to you but others might take offense to that.” He sighed but she was smart. He could tell, she was just young. “Good, as long as you don’t hurt anyone. Magic should not be a tool to inflict pain.” He patted her head. “Well if they are truly happy then I am not one to judge. I am happy for them that they found love and were able to marry. Some are not so lucky.” he laughed a little “They are the sweetest girls. Both of them full of life.”
Tabby shrugged a little when he said she needed to be careful talking about the Queen. "Why? No one in Knighton likes her. I've never met anyone who has a kind thing to say about her. Don't even know why she's Queen, she's not doing any good at all for us." Tabby sighed. She knew she was young, but not young enough to not notice the trouble the kingdom was in under this woman's rule. "Only met one person who used it to hurt my sister and her husband, but she's gone now, I wouldn't want to hurt them or anyone the way she did." Tabby explained, feeling his hand on her head. Why did people have such a fascination with rubbing her hair, she knew she was short but was it necessary to point it out all the time? Tabby was knocked from her thoughts when he spoke about his girls again. "Did you raise them? Like, you took them in when they were younger and just raised them as your own?"
