Children are starving. Mothers spend the day searching for crumbs. Fathers are shadows of themselves, carrying pain they can’t express. No clean water. No food. No medicine.

was a bit sad, so i decided to make some fanart of a random oc i like. this is Guinêsh mao, and it belongs to @t34-mt.

+ i wanted to make my own little Maanul creature, but i did not know how vitiligo would look on Maanuls so i also made a "normal" version :]

Their coat would lose their pigment slower, since the skin underneat has less sun exposure. It would end up more speckled. Cats with vitiligo are a good example of what it would look like on their feathers.

Its walls are worn out, and the cold seeps through every night as if we have no shelter at all.

Rodents are everywhere, getting close to our little food and frightening my children in their sleep.

I try to stay strong for them, but fear and exhaustion weigh heavily on my heart each day.

We are in desperate need of help… any kind hand that can restore a sense of safety and give my children a chance to live with dignity.

Our blankets and clothes are constantly soaked, and I watch Sela shiver uncontrollably in the bitter cold. I hold her to my chest to keep her warm, but I am terrified that the cold will take her from me before the hunger does.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and have professional experience, but the starvation became so extreme that I was forced to sell my laptop just to feed my family. It was a devastating choice. Now, I am stuck in a cycle of survival that leaves no room for hope:

I spend my days carrying heavy water containers across ruins.

I spend my nights trying to start fires just to keep us from freezing.

I have no way to work, no way to study, and no way to pull my family out of this nightmare.
