For all those times you told me I need to lose weight. I’m starving now. For all those times you told me “you shouldn’t eat all of that.” I’m starving now. For all those times you told me I should exercise. I’m starving now. For all those times you poked my fat stomach. I’m starving now. For all those times you told me I looked like I gained weight. I’m starving now. For all those times you stared in disgust. I’m starving now. I’m starving because I hate your words. I’m starving because I hate my body. My hips. My thighs. My arms. My stomach. My neck. My hands. My feet. My face. For all of this I’m starving now. So fat won’t be a reference that means something to me anymore. I’m starving now. Are you happy? I am. I like being hungry. I like the hunger pains. When I wake up in the morning and there’s a pound or two I’ve dropped. I may be fat now but give it six months. I’ll no longer be the “fat one.” In your eyes or theirs. That’s why I’m starving now.

Well then stop fucking eating.
