These commands might help for projects.

/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:mob_spawner 0 replace {EntityId:Skeleton}

Skeleton spawner (works with any ID. Just replace the ‘Skeleton’ part. Don’t try a WitherBoss spawner, though. The Wither can destroy it!)

/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:flowing_water

Using this, setting water in the Nether is possible.

/effect (player name) 8 1000 4

Jump Boost IV for 1000 seconds

/give (Player) 373 1 16428 {CustomPotionEffects:[{Id:15,Amplifier:2,Duration:1000},{Id:16,Amplifier:2,Duration:1000}]}

Splash Potion of complete blindness, instead of just a thick fog. Needs to be put into a command block, though. 

Hey! I use the latest version of Optifine, and cycle through a bunch of different shaders depending on my mood. In my latest gifs, most were recorded while using kuda shaders v6.1 legacy (I love the depth of field effects and it has nice looking water.)  

My computer is beefy enough to get a steady frame rate with these kinds of shaders, but you can also customize the settings themselves to increase or decrease fidelity. I do edit my GIFs in photoshop as well: usually some combination of gradient maps, brightness & contrast adjustments, and smart filters like field blur. So they’re not an exact representation of the shaders haha. Texture/resource wise, I use Mizuno 16 craft (jp), Mizuno’s CIT (jp), and Ghoulcraft. This makes it look nice and adds additional ‘decorative’ blocks that have a lot of potential for building interesting scenes.
