So recently (Last Thursday), I spent the time to think about my gender after putting it off for literal years. It took me like half an hour to be completely certain that I'm agender and thatI prefer they/them pronouns. Meanwhile it took me gathering courage for three hours in a Discord call to tell my friend who they themselves are non-binary that I was agender. It's not even that I previously was boring bog-standard cishet. I was (and still am) very blatantly Aro/Ace. Additionally I pretty occasionally made jokes about "Oh that's going in the 'not cis thoughts' box in my mind". I don't even have social anxiety why did I have to literally count down from ten to start the sentence. I had to that multiple times in fact.
Really odd having a Monday feel ephemeral. I've been so hyped for Blade and Sorcery: Nomad's 1.0 drop, I spent time actually training in the game to get better and now? Today? It's out. I also look out my window and it's night, the pitch black of a pre-sun morning.
Like, I get it when "Oh it's Christmas!" And you wake up early at like 5am, or when it's your birthday. But October 28th? That's such a nonsense date that the weirdness of the morning only is exemplified.
Anyways, weird vibes aside, I am very ready to play the 1.0 drop.
Oh dang I draw quite a bit
I decided to make a little collage of all the art of my fursona. I know a lot of people who aren't artists doodle often their characters, but I didn't think I drew a lot. Well, turns out I do draw my fursona quite frequently. I ended up not only not including every piece of art of my fursona, but also excluding all art I didn't draw. I have become much more aware of just how much I doodle because of this, and I'm definitely glad I did it. Got to relive some very silly memories. It may not seem like a lot to those who don't know me, but I have only been a furry for what, 3 years tops?
(In the upper left of the middle is a reaction to a screencap of Dual Process Theory's follow-up video to their mega FNaF theory, which included my thumbnail, hence the :O face)
Fictional Names in Real Life
I wonder, have the great Tumblr folk given their children names that are from fiction, but still good names? I'm talking like Vibri, Samwise, and Roran. (From Vib-Ribbon, Lord of the Rings, and Eragon respectively)
Imagine knowing someone for a while and then asking, "Hey, who are you named after?" And they respond with something along the lines of: "My parents named me after a wireframe rabbit from a 1999 rhythm game" It's a crazy thought, yet something I could completely see happening. Especially since I have, in the mystical and magical world of real life, met someone named Saphira.
Now, as an aro/ace person, the chances I'll end up naming a human being are minimal, however I am the kind of person that, given the chance, would name someone after a fictional character.
Moral of the story, don't let me name your kids, they will have Tolkien to blame for their name's existence.

Watch my back? How???
Ok so like, I told some of my friends about my blog now that I'm trying to get addicted to Tumblr and one of them said, "Watch your back" and now I'm wondering, how? Like, how does one watch their back? For me at least, I don't have a 360 degree ultra-deluxe owl neck. So what am I supposed to do? Should I make a super-complex series of mirrors so that I always can look at my back? That would be quite bulky and expensive, especially since when you're told to "watch your back" it's supposed to be a constant thing. The only other solution I can think of is swapping to 3rd person view and I don't know how to open the settings of real life yet, so that's not really an option.
