System of the Sky

Ryu can be adorable sometimes, and not 'big, bad, and scary'~ He's sitting here, singing to his kids as they sleep atop him.

It snowed today. My city, for the first time since the 1950s, had not only just snow, but a blizzard. It was beautiful. It was surreal to see in my life time. Everyone had a time, the city shutdown, and everyone was out walking the streets experiencing it.

For a moment, I forgot the world for what it truly is. I was just in the moment, enjoying the wonders of nature with strangers. The simplicity of the world around me took me away to a better place.

But now, as I sit outside and stare out at the snowy terrain, the stillness and silence of this world allows me to think and think.

Now, there is too much, yet nothing at all.
