OF SEA AND SHORE

❛   𝙾𝙷 ! 𝙷𝙴𝙻𝙻𝙾 𝚆𝙴𝙻𝙲𝙾𝙼𝙴 𝚃𝙾 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚃𝙾𝚆𝙽'𝚂 𝙿𝙴𝚃 𝚂𝙷𝙾𝙿 !   ❜     ---------    she says with a feigned and yet believable smile set ‘pon pink coloured lips.    Heart throbbing in the back of her throat.   She hadn’t been paying attention,    clearly.       ❛    what can i do for you ?    ❜   

           she challenges.   ❛    i won’t let you   ❜    funny, for how exactly was she planning to do that if she had both hands well tied up ?

                 ❛       i’m okay     ❜     she says allowing a gentle and genuine smile to set ´pon pink coloured lips       ❛     i wasn’t seeing where i was going   ❜      the princess admits     ❛    i just needed to find my way out of that place,   these dresses make it hard to breathe     ❜        a half-truth for It truly wasn’t about the dress nor it was about the slippers     ❛     i’m sorry    ❜        she continues,      eyes never once meeting those of the prince for more than one or two seconds.        ❛     i really didn’t mean to say all the things i said    ------   it’s just that I'm not entirely sure, or if at all for that matter, about what they expect from me    ❜      shoulders shrug,  as eyebrows sharply knit in the middle of her forehead        ❛     all i’m certain of is that i don’t want to be here     so why are you ?    ❜  

❛     𝒜𝒢𝑅𝒜𝐵𝒜𝐻 𝐼𝒮 𝐵𝐸𝒜𝒰𝒯𝐼𝐹𝒰𝐿 !    ❜        ——–      dazzling,    and so very different from home,    she was fascinated,   caught in the midst of the music,  chattering and general noise      ❛     a magical place i’d dare say !    ❜   

𝒜𝑅𝑀𝒮 𝒜𝑅𝒪𝒰𝒩𝒟 𝐵𝒜𝑅𝐸 𝒮𝐼𝐿𝐻𝒪𝒰𝐸𝒯𝒯𝐸     ——–     she remains silent,  reluctant !  her true form,   exposed,   knees against her chest.   Get near her and she’ll sink her teeth into his skin until they reach marrow bone.     ❛      i didn’t ask for help     ❜      she says,   the tune of her voice,  low and challenging.

            ❛      you shouldn’t be here     ❜       hawk eyes never leave him,     they follow him,    analyze him,     it was evident,    she didn’t think he should be trusted     ❛      i had the situation under control      ❜         a blatant lie escapes her !     ❛       i’ve been doing this for as long as i can remember     ❜        sneaking out she means,  leaving when no one was paying attention     ❛     they never see me,   no one ever does      ❜     except for him, apparently.

ariel smiles, gentle hands coming to rest on her daughter’s shoulders, giving them a soft squeeze. “ you’ll do fine, my pearl. i know you can do it, you’re very much a strong, resilient girl. if you need support, i will gladly be by your side and help you. ” the queen leans down and presses a kiss to the top of melody’s head.

𝒮𝐻𝐸 𝐵𝐸𝐿𝐼𝐸𝒱𝐸𝒮 𝐼𝒩 𝐻𝐸𝑅 𝒟𝒜𝒰𝒢𝐻𝒯𝐸𝑅 !    ——–   but does the daughter believe in herself ?   not quite    ❛     oh, mother     ❜       she complains,   hands automatically dropping to her lap as slender shoulders do the same     ❛     you know they think i’m strange     ❜       

       “YES, THEY’RE USUALLY LOUD– I’m not the biggest fan of it either, but, having a drink or two helps!” He advised, as he slid over a tankard of ale.

𝙰 𝙳𝚁𝙸𝙽𝙺 𝙾𝚁 𝚃𝚆𝙾 ! 𝙴𝚈𝙴𝚂 𝙾𝙿𝙴𝙽 𝙻𝙸𝙺𝙴 𝙿𝙻𝙰𝚃𝙴𝚂      ——–    the tankard reaches her hands, spills a drop or two as it collides with her palms.    She hesitates for a moment
