So I’m thinking this over and I believe it would be in my best interest to archive this blog and start fresh. I do wish to continue writing Richard but it seems a large portion of my writing partners left during my hiatus ( which I honestly regret now ) making it hard for this blog to recover. With my return to this blog resuming activity tomorrow, I will be purging my followers list. So I think I’m going to place this blog on less priority for a little while. I’ve been feeling slightly self-conscious about my portrayal of Nines lately. He just doesn’t seem to stand out and I haven’t been super active on here due to it. You can reach me on Discord or @triptocained for the time being until I feel better about things.

Hana swallows hard, her back pressing on the wall Richard cornered her to. Her eyes widened at his request and her breath caught at the back of her throat. “Y-You wh-what?!” She stuttered as shear fears now painting her features. Her grip on her gun tightened and she ticked off the safety with her thumb.
“Richard, I’m gonna ask you to step back. And leave.” Her eyes met his, her jaw tensed. If need be, she wouldn’t hesitate to put a bullet in his head. Her life would come first.
Her eyes dropped down briefly to the tip of the knife slightly breaking her skin and looked back up at the android. “Please.” It was his first warning.
"I’m afraid that’s the wrong answer, HANA.” His LED begins to whirl an unstable red and he allows the knife to start carving into her skin — further examination shows this was an attempt to form the letter ‘R’ with high chance of scarring taking place. Richard digs harder with the blade, capturing any blood from the wound with his tongue. Pulling back he allows a moment to examine his work like an artist admiring their masterpiece. Even though the canvas only contained a straight line, he still left his mark on her. Maybe Richard was intending on finishing the job. His next actions implied otherwise however.
Richard’s lips then widen. “I know you want to shoot me, I can give you that opportunity.” Leaning in he makes a gun gesture with his fingers, pointing between his eyes. “I won’t even move, I’ll stand perfectly still for you. Killing me isn’t going to change anything Miss Dawkins but I can feel it in you.” The knife is tossed to the ground, leaving a stain of blood across the carpet. Richard’s voice gradually becomes louder, not pulling away from the spot like he said. He was going to stay put no matter what.
“Do it. Do it. Do it. DO IT.”

Richard tilts his head for a moment. It’s an understatement to say he had a large collection — there was so many that it’s almost impossible to keep them contained in one location. The RK900 seemed to have a habit of repairing knives he found too, extending the already big bulk in his possession. “I don’t name all of them,” he’s quick to correct Connor, silver glint emerging. “But this is my girl Shirley, I’m sure you’ve seen her a few times around here.” An arm hooks around the other android’s neck, the blade gripped tightly in his hand. “You shouldn’t piss her off though.... she tends to react brashly. I would hate to see your pretty little face get cut up.”

“Richard, right? I’ve heard a mouthful about you from Reed,” Allen stated as he made coffee in the break room. He had seen the android in there and after hearing what Gavin called ‘horror stories’, he wanted to know what the big fuss was about. Not that Gavin didn’t just bitch to bitch, but some of the things he said could have merit to them. “You’re his new partner, I assume?” He asked, glancing over at the android.
Joseph wasn’t keen on talking with Reed much, but the way he ragged on his new partner almost seemed unjust. But then again, Gavin was a fucking asshole. Maybe his partner was too and he was getting a taste of his own medicine. Wouldn’t that be hilarious? “I’m Captain Allen,” he said after a moment, “we might be working together at some point.” He poured some coffee into his mug and turned to face Richard.
“Oh, I’m sure he has nice things to say about me. Quite a charming character Reed is... maybe he’d be more cute if he learned his place.” Richard’s lips curl into a devious smile, allowing his face to rest against a flat palm. He was fully aware of the resentment Gavin felt towards him but that was all too amusing for the android. He couldn’t wait to tear apart that sorry excuse of a human being once he had the chance. Pathetic. All of them were pathetic. Richard didn’t want to be dragged down with them all.
Blue eyes bore holes into Allen like cold daggers. They don’t tear away from his face, watching as if this man was his prey, ready to swoop in at any moment. “You and I? We’re going to get along just fine, sir. Working with you is a privilege I shall cherish.” The words roll from his tongue with a purr, holding out a hand for the Captain to shake.
