No, but I do not fancy staying up until three in the morning if I can help it. [` a palm is pressed to his mouth to conceal a yawn ] I suppose, if we really want to be honest here. The one who pays the most. Though, of course, I know the risks that can be involved, so I try not to step on too many toes. But alas, it cant be helped.

I see. {' he raises a brow.} Looks like someone is a bit tired already. Indeed. Though have you ever gotten in trouble before? From the people you helped or the enemies? Near death experiences?

God forbid I hang around till three am. Maybe some other time. [` he leans against the table, palm pressed against it to hold his balance and he shakes his head, tsking softly ] Too many movies, I’d say. I’m more of a … how do you say it. Independent worker? I play whatever side suits my needs. 

Do you have a bedtime or something? {` -- he leaned against the counter .} So you do things that benefits you?

We could probably chase this around all night. When do you get off? two? Somewhat. [` he stuffs his wallet back into his pocket, getting up from his seat to stretch his limbs, his spine making a soft click and he releases a relieved sigh ] Please enlighten me. What other side?

We could. I get off, depending on the workload, clean up, and stock I have to do. So maybe around three. {` -- the sounds of your spine making that small sound reminded him of bones cracking, which brought a smile on his lips.} Isn't there some sort of darker side to the detective area? Maybe like there's a traitor? I'm not sure, maybe I've watched too many movies. 

Touché. Perhaps the person I saw just so happened to look exactly like you. Do you have a twin? [` he reaches into his pocket to pull out a few bills, placing them one by one neatly on top of each other ]  Ha. Detective. Like I’d work for them.  Keep the change. 

Not that I know of, perhaps I might have a twin. Maybe my parents hid something and never told me? {` -- he noticed how neat and precise you were and smiled, as he reached out to take the money.} Thank you. I see you're very organized. Hm? Them? Don't tell me you're on the other side of investigation. 

Well for starters… [` setting his drink down, he leans over, his voice hushed ] You could start by telling me what you were doing at three am. You weren’t here.  

{` -- he leans in and quietly speaks.} I'm pretty sure I was here, but how would you know? This place closes at two in the morning. No one is allowed in, mister detective. 

The elevator was broken, and have you tried walking up 3 flights of stairs when you’re four months pregnant? -raises an eyebrow-

The resume didn't say you were pregnant. I can't have you working at my bar, miss.

And here I thought I wouldn’t be able to pay for the drinks. [` he doesn’t bother taking out his wallet, returning to sipping the drink slowly ] I only plan on having a few more … maybe. Tell me about you. 

Alright then. {` -- he tilts his head.} What would you like to know?

[` he takes a sip before speaking, setting the glass down to reach into his pocket to grab his wallet.  ] How much does that come to then? Eh, probably not that much. I’m not worried.

Nah, I like to keep the mystery. I could be messin’ with your head, or maybe I really do know what you did. [` he lifts the drink to sip it when he hears the males words ] Oh... How many drinks did I have? 

Mm.. I see. What if I messed with your head a bit? {' he held up three fingers.} You've had three drinks. The first one is on the house. The other's well.. not so much.
