Made in Procreate

Red art I've been working on since last night. This decidedly isn't his final form, but I like a lot of things that fell out here. Like the style, like how I'm getting a hang of painting and shading. Like the small ears. Love the fiery chest ruff and how it reflects onto his face. Little pumpkin man. Also a big fan of the Jupiter theme that emerged, though his face swirls are a bit busy. A lot of details need to be adjusted, and I haven't even tried to attempt the scar on his hindquarters. But we're on to something here! This is a character I'm excited to spend plenty of time with. I'll keep iterating ^.^

I like this one a lot better. It is very busy and I'll have to pull that back for comic Red. But I'm reeeaaallllyyyy liking this design. LOVE the organic stumbling into a Jupiter motif. I can do something with that! All his little moons follow him into battle. Maybe I can give future leaders other planets?

Treecko's design and personality have been taking shape in my mind over the past week. This is by no means her final form, but I'm really digging this design so far. Very excited to start playing with her. She has a mischievous, playful vibe that intrigues me in a hero type.

I had a lot of fun painting tonight. Lotta firsts with this one! I'm getting more comfortble with holding the pen farther away, as opposed to the near-tip writing hold. Painted with the tablet up. I've tried that before, but it was really comfortable. Tonight, combining art-hold with up-tablet actually resulted in some of the most comfotable arting I've ever had! We've cracked it, babes.

I tried some lighting stuff here. I like what I accomplished, but we can definitely do better. Would love to take another crack at this later, after I've larned more :)
