Presumably this isn’t immediately after they meet, but it’s soon enough for them to still be a little awkward. He cares! Even if he’s a little bad at admitting it.

This is long, but here you go. I might continue this comic with a part two where they go to the dojo and have a little practice fight 🫢

I’ve already drawn normal Spamtenna reconciliation, so here’s the two very different reconciliations of fell and swap:

Glooby swap Tenna 💖💖

My thought process with the design is since normal Spamton is visually referencing Friend with his glasses, the same would be true of swap Tenna’s Friend character—and who with be swapped with Friend? Probably the other metanarrative character who speaks directly to the player, the character we all assume is Gaster. So, swap Tenna’s body here is based on Gaster. Of course, if Gaster ends up not being a part of this game at all, then it just looks likes it’s visually referencing puppet Spamton’s outfit and you can just as easily color the balls on the ends of the antennas pink and yellow.

I also gave him one arm to have him be broken in a way that lines up with Tenna prime, but I also like the idea of modern swap Tenna’s entire body being broken and all that he’s running around on now is just a big pile of trash held together by his plug tail. So the only bit of him that really remains is just the detachable TV head.

His pet ant turned into a whole ass man

My interpretation of swap Tenna is that he’s got social anxiety and a much lower self esteem compared to normal Tenna, which is why he wasn’t able to fulfill the role as TV World’s leader, thereby creating a space for Spamton to take over and make it Ad World instead. I don’t think swap Tenna really even has an issue with getting usurped or anything, he’s just thrilled to get any attention after Spamton rolls up and takes over his office.

Additionally, I think because of Tenna’s constant dampened mood, he’s always been this small size since he was created, until this comic 🤭 where he discovers he can be big like everyone else. (And ofc I’m sure all of this throws Spamton off big time…)
