"And what’s the success rate of it working?" He had to ask. He found it hard to believe it put an end to procrastination. Whoever started this tradition needed their head examined

"Well you'd have to ask everyone who does a new years resolution to see if they went through with it. Do you really want to do that? I know it's worked for me though." Well it's worked whenever he had made one and that was once every few years or so since coming to the University.

"Sounds like a pointless thing to do.  Why not just make that goal whenever and do it when you can instead of setting it within the year?" He never understood these concepts. 

"Well it's an old tradition and it makes one want to work harder to that goal so they accomplish it within the year! It's an attempt to stop procrastination." The researcher added with a smile on his face.

"New years… resolution? And that is?"

( Ratatosk you're like thousands of years old and you don't know what a New Year's resolution is? ) He couldn't help but think that to himself before giving a response. "It's like a goal one makes that they try to accomplish within that new year."
