I low-key hope they make a gold version of the logo for the Ocarina of Time remake as a homage to the gold European logo back on the N64.

We did get gold text so i guess we got the best of both worlds.

Was the new Direct the best? No. But it's really funny watching people out here whining about the direct while i got a new Xenoblade game, Kingdom Hearts series on Switch 2 as well as a new trailer for KH4, Switch Sports Resort and the Ocarina of Time remake among others.

Feels weird seeing the modern version of the Hylian Shield and Master Sword that started with Skyward Sword instead of the classic OoT ones in the new logo, kinda makes me wonder if this is actually a placeholder logo (i doubt it this close to release but who knows) or if they just wanna make things more unified or something idk.

Still really excited, can't wait to see more.

Rewatched the Kamen Rider OOO 10th anniversary movie and i think that whenever we get around to Kamen Rider OOO's 20th anniversary (if the 10th anniversary movie is still canon) they should either let Ankh sacrifice himself so that he can finally be together with Eiji in death OR they should bring Eiji back somehow.

Killing Eiji off (not just killing him, killing him off-screen) in the 10th anniversary movie was a god damn fumble.

Sure, we got the pretty cool final battle that mirrored the final battle in the original show with Ankh and Eiji switching places but Eiji being dead the whole time and only really interacting with Ankh as a ghost after a DECADE apart just rubbed me the wrong way.

The new Star Fox designs are growing on me and with the apparent rebranding going on with this being JUST "Star Fox" maybe this could become the new foundation to move the series forward finally

Now we just need the Ocarina of Time remake and the joke that going from Switch to Switch 2 is like going from DS to 3DS will be complete
