The Past is The Past, Matt Bors
Let’s reblog this until everybody sees it
For some explanation to those confused: these are examples of patriarchal and racist hypocrisies.
The first one is of a woman narrowing her eyes, bc most women are very aware that at the time of the wrongdoing, there are many factors to which women may not be able to come out with their experience of sexual abuse. This could be because cops majority of the time brush it off and leave the case to either wither away or sit and rot, there is also the fact that sexual abusers threaten to harm their victims and will often act on it and so the victim remains quiet for their own safety or until it’s safe, and honestly just the gaslighting of accusing the abuser where the narrative is flipped and the victim is laughed at.
The second one is of a nervous priest. Which, honestly, given the consistent string scandals within the Catholic Church and their streaks of child abuse, child sexual exploitation and so on, that should state enough about why he is nervously sweating.
The third is of a young dark skinned man and an older man, both of which are hearing the ignorant words “where would we be as a society if we used mistakes you make as a teen to ruin your whole life?” come from the tv. Knowing the unjust incarceration of minorities and the many instances that pop up, you would know that a minor has a higher chance of serving time for decades for a minor crime or incident that a white teen would most likely get a slap on the wrist and juvenile detention (and that’s a BIG maybe) for a couple months for. It would be things like 13 year old black boys being given life sentences, the incarceration of a 8 year old Hispanic boy using a weapon to kill an intruder that was about to hurt his mother, 16 year old minors facing decades worth of jail time for possession of soft substances like marijuana.
The fourth is also one of the most notably tragic.
“We live in a culture of overreaction now. One claim and your life is over. We have to think about this man’s feature.”
And in the background you see the name of the headstone. If you know the name Trayvon Martin, even if you don’t remember exactly what the story was, you probably feel a sense of sadness.
The story of Trayvon Martin was that he was a young 17 year old boy in town with his father. He had gone to go get a snack and drink before George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, shot and killed the young boy were he was because Trayvon was walking down the sidewalk with a bag of Skittles and an Arizona iced tea.
George Zimmerman proceeded to continue to be the most fucking disgusting piece of shit in history by selling the weapon he used to killed Trayvon Martin for upwards of 100,000$ at an auction, and he also tried to, or did sue Trayvon Martin’s family for 100,000,000$ in “property damage”.
Thank you for the explanation!

Hope you’re having a good life
Better if I could have an honest conversation with you
How is life?
A dream.
Sorry to bug you, just looking around and saw your page. Just looking for some honest fun if you’re interested. Money not being any issue lol
My type of fun is my tuition being paid just because you wanna be nice. Since money isn’t an issue.
And now, it’s a two-candidate race (plus Tulsi lol)

Thyroid PSA of the day:
The thyroid hormone helps a lot of important parts of your body work properly. When it is not working properly it can mess with your:
Metabolism
Temperature control
Skin/Hair/Nails
Energy
Cholesterol
Heartbeat
Menstrual cycles
Muscles
Breathing
Nervous system
Digestion
If you have symptoms in these areas it’s worth having these simple blood tests to find out if your thyroid is to blame. Ask your doctor to test your TSH, Free T3, Free T4 and thyroid antibodies.
Then, don’t stop there. Look at your test results. If your Free T3 and T4 are in the lower half of the reference range and you have symptoms then you are hypothyroid (although most doctors will not treat you until they fall below the “normal” reference range). If your Frees are above the reference range you are hyperthyroid. Presence of thyroid antibodies will let you know if you have Graves Disease or Hashimotos.
Developing a chronic illness, is a lot like winning an award. Except the award is diarrhea and fatigue.
