I’m afraid my Hebrew is a little rusty, but I wanted to make a little announcement, given that it is currently Passover for those of us of Jewish faith. So, Pesach Sameach and chag kasher v'sameach to all of you, practicing or not.

Because it is a holiday to reflect on what our people went through, and I believe it is a reason to band together, my house is open to those who may not have family or friends with which to spend Passover. Conversely, those who are interested in the celebration of the holiday may also attend if they like, as I am happy to educate people on the rituals involved.

We’re not a strict household (I myself am actually an atheist but I do celebrate the holiday as I would feel strange not doing so), as we don’t take the full span of the holiday off from work or otherwise, but we do take the first two and last two days to celebrate when we can– it remains to be seen whether or not we will be able to take the last two days off, most likely just the last as it falls on a Saturday. So, if you are available and would like to attend, just let me know so I can set a place for you.

I understand that feeling. I’m not a believer myself, but I celebrate it because the Berrys are Jewish and my sister and parents do it every year and it’s a good excuse to get together even if it is for a couple of days. Sadly, I can’t get on a plane and visit them this year, so I’d like to attend, Miss.

So, there’s a very special someone’s birthday coming up, and between you and me, the internet, I think we should celebrate it right. That’s right, ya boi’s turning 25 on the first of April, which is as good an excuse as any to drink until we black out. Who’s in?

Alcohol, birthday and April Fool’s the the same day? Sign me up, stranger. I’m all up for it even if I have to go to work on Monday, but why not?

Everyone loves them, and I think that’s gotten a lot of business for the store on its own. That’s the thing, though— people really do try to take care of it, but people are giant… assholes, for lack of a better word. So it always just gets trashed again. I’d happily help fix it up if we could figure out how to keep it from getting vandalized. 

Oh, yeah, I really like it. It’s really relaxing for me and I always have fun when I’m doing it, so I can’t complain. Plus, I’ve met some really neat people through it. I wish I got to do more with it but I don’t know all that many dominants and switches yet, but that’s part of the reason I got this thing in the first place. 

Oh, don’t worry about calling them assholes --I would have called them something worse, but what’s the point on insulting them when they’re not in front of you? There must be something that we can do, like reporting it to the authorities and hope they come up with something to make them stop? I’m not sure what would work at this point though.

[PM]: Well, I’ve been wanting to do some impact play lately. I kinda want to not be able to sit down without feeling some pain in my ass and I’m not really sure why. I’ve been craving a good spanking lately, you know. 

I don’t think the owners know much about social media but that’s not a bad idea, actually. They’d probably have me or one of my friends run it but it’d probably get us loads of business. I wish the pet play park didn’t get messed up so much or we could host events there or something. Thank you! I’m glad your day’s going well!

They should get informed about all the wonders social media can do to business. There are downsides to the Internet, but if they know how to use it to their advantage, things could be even better. The pet play park --it’s a shame it’s so neglected and nobody takes care of it. I guess someone should do something about it, hopefully soon.

I still live with my parents, so I’m not really swimming in the cash either but my job is awesome so I figured the least I could do was try and get more people into the store! It’ll be a big deal if I can actually get people to come in, or if I can talk to people about pet play and stuff! Generate interest and all that good junk; I’m pretty good at things like that. 

Me? I’m great, Miss! I just took my little brother to the park and now he’s sleeping on me so I’m kind of just messing around online for a while. But it’s been an awesome day. How’re you?

I totally agree with you, Kit! If a store get some promotion in social media and catches potential clients’ eye, that’s a good thing. You know, get themselves known out there and hopefully get more people interested in what you sell, which is pet play in this case. You seem to have the attitude, so good luck with it!

As someone who works in the world of online magazines and tends to shop online --in moderation, of course, because I’m not obviously dirty rich-- I’d say you’re doing a good job at it. Nowadays everything (or almost everything) is about advertising products on the Internet and even a simple post on Tumblr can make the difference!

The Liberals are going to have to run some very nasty and memorable smear campaigns if they want to keep this development relevant. I wouldn’t be surprised if candidates in his own party would be willing to do something like that, honestly. That fact alone really does make it anyone’s game at this point.

Precisely. I’m waiting with bated breath to see how the President tries to explain his way out of this. Should be very amusing. This happening in an election year does not bode well for him or his party.

I suppose we’ll have to wait and see, but I’d love for that to happen as well. Switches and submissives deserve to be heard. I just wish the popular vote meant more in this ‘democratic’ system.

I just hope nobody let this slip and not affect politics because it surely does. If sex scandals affect politicians, this surely has to ruin their careers.

Cheers, love, I’d say I have to agree with you there. If it paid enough to be the only thing I ever did in terms of work, I’d do it for the rest of my life. Salary’s not that kind, unfortunately.

I’m from London, and believe it or not I’ve actually enjoyed the relative quiet in comparison. The first week or so I had to play traffic noises on my phone to fall asleep, but after that I just tried to make the best of it. Use it to relax and stuff. That and my Da has been on a meditation kick lately and I’ve told him I’ll try that as well, so I’m sure the quiet won’t hurt that journey. 

Too bad it doesn’t. I guess literally saving live is underrated, sadly.

It’s a huge change, I believe. As someone who has lived in a few noisy places, I surely enjoy this quiet, even if it gets boring sometimes but then I think I have the beach minutes away and I can wear bikinis almost all the time, so that makes up for it. At least there’s something to do here, Morgan.

Full disclosure: only tiny two-year-old Morgan has ever tried to fight fire with his bare hands and he paid a price, but I do fight fires for a livin’. And bar tend, but that’s not quite as exciting. 

The adventure of it all? I’ve always wanted to visit the States, and I figured it might be nice to have some kinda change, y’know? I like to think I’m a pretty adventurous dude, so. I like stuff like that.
