This past Saturday night I played the game Telestrations with a group of friends. Itâs similar to the old childhood school game of âTelephoneâ many of us played.
With Telestrations, everyone is given small spiral book with a dry erase marker. The players each take a card, and a die is rolled to determine our words. We all write our word down and then on the first page, draw a picture that represents that word. After this everyone passes their books to the left. We turn the page and write down a word (or words) that describe the picture weâre looking at. Then the books are passed again. The next person draws a picture based on the word(s) theyâre seeing. Everyone is given only a minute to draw. The books continue to be passed until you get your own book back.
Then we all take turns by presenting our books to everyoneâŠbeginning with what our starting was, we flip the pages, seeing how things progress. The point is obviously just to see how quickly and ridiculously things go off course. Sometimes WAY off course. The above example was one of the funnier ones from that night.
Yes we had a lot to drink that nightâŠand yes, page 7 is all my doing. :D
