BESIEGED... BY HIS GRACE SHAKE OFF THE DUST AND MOVE ON
OH, give thanks to the Lord,
For His mercy endures forever.
" BESIEGED... BY HIS GRACE SHAKE OFF THE DUST AND MOVE ON!"
Surround as to force to give up, blockaded, encircled, encompass, hedged in, attack, assault, barricade, isolate, afflicted, hem in, shut in, unpleasant,annoying,trapped , harassed by problems , spiritual warfare or trials, challenges, temptations o, distress or worried, persecute, overwhelmed, trouble, etc ..
You have hedged me behind
And laid Your hand upon me.
And take the helmet of your salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
For out of it spring the issues of life.
Glory to God, the Rescuer from the besieging situation/environment /thoughts.
Glory to God, the Destroyer of the besieger.
Glory to God, who encircles me with His presence.( Psalm 139:5-7). Your hand is on me that makes me comfortable and feels secured even in difficult times (Psalm 125:2; Psalm 34:7; Psalm 91:11)
Glory to God for You are my Shield, Deliverer, Rock, the Horn of my Salvation, Fortress, Strong Tower, High Tower, Defense, Savior, Rescuer, Helper, Protector,Stronghold, Strength, Refuge.
1..Being overwhelmed by unwanted or intrusive thoughts, strange thoughts, sinful thoughts ,negative thoughts, distressing thoughts, anxious thoughts.
2....Feeling overwhelmed by mistakes and failures.
3...a sinful act, oppression, self- pity, low esteem, an unhappy / harassed family situation, bitterness, jealousy, agitation, irritation, anger, not forgiving, long sickness, debts,insulting talks / comments, physical and emotional harassment, being deceived or deserted/ avoided, loneliness ,belittle talks, body shaming comments, pains, financial burdens and other burdens, any unhappy atmosphere, losing a family member that leads to psychological issues, nagging people,natural calamities, failures, all negatives. People of all age undergo this.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Stop believing the lies that "I am a failure".
Run to the Lord, confess, repent, plead Him for a change in heart.
The gracious God will help , forgive , teach , mold , strengthen and help to grow.

The word of God is the only weapon that fights against the besieging situation or thoughts.
Glory to God, the True Light, the light that shines in the darkness.
In Him was life, and life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Weed out the negative thoughts ( besieged thoughts/overwhelmed) , with the word of God, the Life, the ultimate Nourisher,(John 6:35) the Living water for it replaces the stunted growth/ life with productive life.
Glory to God who offers wisdom and guidance, brings healing, restoration, gives empowerment to overcome challenges.
But He answered and said," It is written, ' Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.' "
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
Psalm 37:23-24; Romans 8:28; 2 Corinthians 12:9)
There will always be something to let me down, knock me off my feet, discourage me, overwhelm me, puzzle me how to handle. Run to God, the safest resting place.
He will not allow your foot to be moved
He who keeps you will not slumber( Psalm 121:3)
He loves me unconditionally, guides me, strengthens me and uses my failure to shape me.
Glory to God for You are my hope, trust, Helper, the Deliverer, the Sustainer (Hebrews 1:3 and Colossians 1:17).

Recognize and reject thoughts that don't align with what God says .
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Am I besieged by the worldly affairs or by the wondrous works of God, His presence ?
The word of God, the most powerful weapon that fights against the battles of my mind.
Focus on true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable.

Glory to God, the Helper who helps me to arm myself with the word of God, to gain strength to overcome sinful (besieging )thoughts.

Glory to God , the Deliverer, the Sustainer, the Guard, who helps me to immerse myself in the word of God . This daily practice of listening, reading and meditating the word of God, giving Praise and thanks, anointment of the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, fasting brings me closer to live a life that honors God.
1.. Think about what I think about.
2... Capture it ( 2 Corinthians. 10:5)
3... Test my thoughts ( Philippians 4:8).
4...Decide... resist and deny.

The besieger ( devil) tries to besiege the thoughts/ situations.
" The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Lord, help me to guard myself with the word of God, the Holy Spirit.
Put on the whole armor of God, take the sword of the Spirit, the word of God.
By His Grace resist the silent invader, the silent killer, the slow poison, the taunter, the twister of the truth,the threatener, the tempter.
It is like a small spider that cobs its web without our notice, like silent killer cancer, it is like a leech that sucks the blood of a person without his knowledge.
It drains the energy, makes him weak, leads to low esteem , affects mental health and physical health , confidence, simultaneously torturing with deceiving thoughts and oppression, suicidal thoughts,sometimes forcing him to take devastating decisions ( self injury), ultimately fulfilling his mission. Before it swallows...
Seek the help of the Redeemer, the only One who can redeem from the besieger.
Recognize, release or surrender at His feet, refrain from the enemy.

Besieged by the mind siege( fear, confusion, anger, despair.)
( 2 Corinthians 10:4 ; Romans 12:2 ; Psalm 18:2 ; Psalm 124:7)
Break...Recognize, repent, renew the mind through the word of God, pray for God's strength, submit to Christ. If unchecked it leads to an imprisonment of thinking.

Besieged by Entrapment of the past..
" Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.( Isaiah 43:18)
It makes me get stuck where I am.
Resist dwelling on the past and perceive the new thing ( Isaiah 43:19).
Be thankful in all situations and refrain self- pity, feelings of regret, ingratitude.

Besieged by Fear of the future..
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
" By His Grace shake off the dust and move on!"
Besieged by delayed answers/ deliverance.
Sometimes He takes time / another route to avoid problems or dangers, as testimony to the world, punishment , to test the faith and obedience.( He took the Israelites around the canaan).
Sometimes He leads me out of my comfort zone.
He is my Creator and Sovereign God.He knows all. Trust in Him alone.

Besieged by voidness in life.
Sometimes I feel like I am alone, isolated, a sense of emptiness, a vacuum,...
In all your ways acknowledge Him
And He shall direct your paths.
God alone can fill my empty heart with overflowing, when I make my relationship with Him. My hope is in You , Lord.
But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Great peace have those who
And nothing causes them to stumble.

Never ever yearn anyone's affection/ attention, or love.(It is a besieging situation). People's preferences change seasonally .
Do not waste the precious life on these unworthy relationships.
Trust the Immutable God alone.
Lord help me to show my genuine affection, care, love wholeheartedly.Let not my behavior, speech, action be season oriented .

Dance ( live) according to God's will and purpose. Do not heed to peer's pressure.

By the Grace of My Maker, the Creator of creations, the Potter, the ultimate source of revival(Psalm 85:6), the Redeemer,
1...Lord I give You Praise and thanks ,I see wonders in my life for life is precious.
2...Lord , I give Praise and thanks, I cherish every moment of my life.
3... Lord, I give You thanks for every breath I inhale and exhale
4... I rely on Your strength and power alone.
5...By Your Grace, let the besieged thoughts of clinging to You, enjoying Your embrace, love and care entrap me in You always.
6... By Your Grace, let the besieged thoughts of a blessed and victorious life, a life of satisfaction , faith and trust in You alone, happiness, joy, freedom deliverance encapsulate/encompass me in You always.
7... By Your Grace, let the besieged thoughts/actions of Praise, thanksgiving, prayer, fasting, anointment of the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues hedge me always.
8...By Your Grace, the word of God, the Truth is my Shield and protection.
1...Refrain the abominations the Lord hates and emotional imbalances.
2...Meditate His sacrificial death on the cross, and the fruit of its blessings.
3..A constant time spent with Him in isolation with the anointment of the Holy Spirit .
4...Be prepared to do the assignment the Lord gives.
5...Life is full of experiences, lessons to be learnt, refrain self condemnation.
6....Overcome the offence, rejection, shame, whatever the world throws at a person.
7....Live a life of victory, move forward, be persistent, prevail, conquer and grow.
8....I am here to live my life and nobody's life.
9...By His Grace, in Him I am a victor and not a victim .Jesus gives me the victory.( 1 Corinthians 15:57)
10...I trust the Lord who is merciful, loves unconditionally, Immutable, forgives my sins, and cleanses me with His precious blood.
11..."Therefore turn and live!" ( Ezekiel 18:32)
( Repentance and a change of heart)
13...The time lost cannot be reversed.
14....Besieged but not defeated.( 2 Chronicles 32:7-8).
Christians are the prime target of the enemy.( Ephesians 6: 10-18)
By His Grace we are not defeated.( 2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
15....I will Praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
16..My Maker has made me unique.
17...The Creator has blessed every one with a unique gift or talent.
Concentrate, develop, reach upper heights for His glory.
18..Give no place to idleness.( 2 Thessalonians 3:6-18)
19...The joy is in me. No one can give me..It is I who has to decide...am I going to be vulnerable to besieged thoughts / actions or am I going to be strong in the Lord, the Refuge, the Fortress , the High tower?
