New pieces I'm working on for a competition, they're due on the 27th so I have to work quickly and might only be able to do one.
The top one is a quick sketch of a cupachabra. In modern Latino folklore it is a goat sucking monster, that was likely just a pack of mange dogs who were attacking livestock. I'm leaning more towards this one since I grew up with my punk ass cousins telling me stories of them to scare me.
The bottom one depicts a suitcase with snacks, candies and toys from Mexico. The bed has different landscapes from Mexico rising out of it and weaving its way across the bed. This is again a surreal scene from my childhood with many of my relatives bringing back treats and toys after traveling to and from Mexico.
