do you have any suggestions for names/mascots if the braves ever decided to change it? i'm a (white) braves fan but i feel a little conflicted about the name and the only thing i've heard people say about alternatives is 'not bees.' i wouldn't mind a change as long as it was something representative of atlanta. any ideas?

I’m gonna jump in and on that Phoenix thing, because all our other teams are birds, and I’d like for baseball to jump in on that. It’s kinda always bothered me that our baseball team ISNT a bird.

ok just as a different view point, i am half native american and i don’t find it offensive at all. I am pretty sure i can speak on behave of most native americans that the names of these teams and their mascots aren’t offensive, they are just getting changed bc people who aren’t the targeted race think it’s offensive.
