Thomas Blanky

Thomas becomes a total hermit when he comes home. He wants to stay inside with you, to read in each other company, or he’ll tell you a story about his travels. He has been without you too long so he needs the quality time.

Solomon Tozer

Solomon might go home and take a long nap, but he really can’t stand to do nothing. So he’ll most likely ask you to go to the carnival, or some pub with music. He’s a social guy no matter how long he’s been away.

James Fitzjames

James most likely will be invited to some gathering or celebration, he will make sure to keep you close though, he doesn’t mind going, but he won’t stay long. He’ll make up some excuse to leave early, and spend the rest of the evening with you. James enjoys the spotlight but sometime he just needs your spotlight.

Harry Goodsir

Harry would be so happy to be home. he’s brought you a seashell to display, because when he found it he thought of you. He will talk all night about what it was like out at sea, the men he had to treat, and what he had learned from it, sometimes he might get to detailed in the procedure and realize only when he sees the worry in your face, and gives a small awkward laugh.

Francis crozier

Francis will most likely be invited out too, and will absolutely leave early. He’ll rather invite you out to a play or opera in the theater where he can hold your hand in the dark, and look at your pretty face all night, than be among men that think themselves better than him.

Edward Little

Edward would like evening strolls with you. The quiet is a comfort, you would talk about everything he had missed while he was gone, you would gossip about scandals and other indiscretions he would never had heard about. He is invested and shocked and thoroughly enjoys analyzing it with you.

Alexander McDonald

He sits in the kitchen, and starts to write about his sailing, with the noice of you cooking, or doing other chores in the background. It’s a mundane thing, but he likes the change of pace. To not have as many responsibilities, and just be here with you.

Henry Collins

The first time you met

He helped you carry your bags home from the train station. You had visited your aunt, and your bags were too heavy to carry. He had noticed you, and come to your rescue. He had offered to carry your bags all the way home, and who were you to refuse such a kind gesture.

When you both arrived at your front door he asked you out, and he was so nervous you could see the panic in his eyes. Of course you accept.

First date

He had knocked on your door, and when you opened it you were faced with a big bouquet. He seemed so bashful handing it to you, you thanked him and found a vase to put them in. When you were ready to leave he moved his arm towards you, interlocked your arm in his.

Henry had gotten you a seat at the new restaurant that had opened nearby. He had made sure you were seated by the window facing the river running nearby. The lighting was low and it was so romantic. You spent the entire night sharing stories, and laughing.

On your walk home, he admitted that he had never been to such a high end place, and you told him you could tell which made him blush, but it did suite him you told him, he was well dressed for the occasion, so no one would be able to tell, and you gave him a sly smile. Back home you gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and wished him goodnight. He asked if he would see you again, and of courses you said yes.

Dating

When he had officially asked you to be his girlfriend he was sick to his stomach with nervousness. He stuttered and turned his words around. He told you that he wants to make you happy, and start to build a relationship with you and hopefully, soon, marry you.

He became much more comfortable around you he wanted to hold your hand or the small of your back when you were on walks in the park, and he took you to coffee dates, and out to eat. He loves to cook you dinner, and when you complement his cooking makes him so happy, and he wants to make you happy. He adores you so much and loves to make you smile.

Once, before he had to leave to sail, he had taken you out to the park to enjoy a picnic, he had put such an effort into it, when he took the cloth of the basked he was so proud to show it to you. You made sure to tell him how much you appreciated his efforts. He is so content with just being there with you. While you sat there, and ate, you open your small bag and handed him a picture of yourself, something to keep with him when he is gone. That’s when he knew he was gonna ask you to marry him. He promised when he came back he would marry you.

Marrage

Being married to Henry is blissful to say the least. It’s absolutely terrible when he is gone. You hate to be alone in your shared bed, you miss your Collins, his presence, his warm body, and his laugh. It’s terribly boring without him here.

When he is home you both work on the home you had bought, you pick out the wallpaper and new lamps and he has to set it up, easy.

You share the kitchen, he isn’t an amazing cook but he can make a mean bacon and eggs in the morning, waking you up with a cup of tea and a kiss on your forehead, telling you breakfast is ready. It’s days like these his life makes complete sense. He is complete with you. To be the only person that gets to have you, to love you as he does is so special.

He keeps it a secret how much he misses you. He might mention you to sir John, but he will not admit how much he wants to go home, he definitely can’t hide it at all. Some days he just seems more somber. He will write in his diary though, he reminds himself he is doing this for you, if he is successful in this journey, he will climb another step up the ladder, But sometimes instead of telling a war story of his over dinner, he might just mention how the two of you met.

Eats his words about wanting to be a master on the sea and ice, he wants to go home. Will write a poem about it. He might even beat himself up a little, he thinks it’s stupid that he left you at home, and he wished he could share the beauty of the sea with you. He doesn’t mention it to the men, but he thinks about you a lot. When he smokes a pipe he can hear you cough and complain about the smell, he even misses when you complain, so he really must love you. When he’s back home he’ll take you fishing to give you a taste of the open water.

Edward little

He starts talking much more about you. Your beauty, and stories of things you’ve done together. “You know, Once Y/N and I…” They couldn’t exactly tell him to stop talking about you, he was a lieutenant so the only thing they could do was sit there and listen, and give each other the occasional side eye. Edward would fully expect them to ask him question when he was talking about you, and was disappointed when they didn’t, so he grumbles and walks off. How dare they not want to hear about his beautiful amazing, stunning, perfect, angel of a wife!!

Henry Collins

He would become quiet on deck, he would stare out into the distance and think about you. The men would walk over to him and say something but he wouldn’t notice them until they put a hand on his shoulder. “Henry? What has gotten into you?” He wouldn’t really tell them he was homesick for you, and just get back to work. “He’s thinking about the missus again!” They would all snicker and laugh.

Sometimes, when it had gotten dark, he would stand outside, and open the pocket watch he had gotten from you. “Your Y/N” was engraved on the inside, he would read it over and over again, counting down the hours until he’s in your arms again.

Long nights in the sick bay, and everyone is asleep he tends to write in the medical journal about the sick men, but when he has finished that, he draws you, he remembers every detail as if your sitting opposite him, he’ll draw you in the pretty dress you like, with your hair the way you like to wear it. “What are you drawing doctor?” Harry closes his book quickly and gets a bashful look and stutters “no it’s uh- it’s just - eh my wife, Y/N.” He lowers his head and sighs, he misses you so much. “She must be quite the woman if you are this upset at only her picture.” - “She is beautiful.”

Henry Thomas Dundas Le Vesconte

He definitely finds Edward in the evenings so that they can talk about their spouses. He misses you and he knows Edward will listens, and he will listen to Edward. Absolutely loves talking about the fist time he met you, seeing you across the room among so many other people you looked serine, and he got nervous approaching. You danced all night. He aches for you.

Solomon Tozer

He definitely loves to boast. That’s MY woman. When he and the other marines are off duty, they talk about women, and he would proudly say that he is taken. He wears it like a Medal of Honor, he is in fact better than the others because he has you, and they are without a wife or girlfriend. He definitely keeps a picture of you in his pocket and shows it to them.

ACTS OF SERVICE: He’s a royal marine, so of course he’ll serve you too. He’s strong, and wants to carry all your things when you’re out shopping. He thinks he’s tough when he’s carrying your things like a gentleman. He can’t stand it if you have to lift heavy things, so he’ll tell you to wait until he comes home to do it for you.

PHYSICAL TOUCH: he’s in his prime, and he’s needy for your touch. He loves it when you hug him from behind, he holds your arms and smiles. Loves it when you hug, and he wraps his arms around your neck and rests his chin on your head.

WORDS OF AFFIRMATION: He might not be a poet, but he will never stop telling you how beautiful you are and how much he loves you. He’s so grateful to have you in his life. Sweetheart, angel, dearest are his favorite nicknames for you.

GIFT GIVING: Loves to buy you gifts that remind him of you or that remind you of him.

He goes crazy on your birthday. He makes a mental note of everything you slightly suggest at wanting, Matching jewelry sets and a trip to your dream destination. Loves your smile and when you hug and kiss him thanks.

PHYSICAL TOUCH: he loves when you wrap your arms around his arm when you’re on a walk, it makes him feel strong. When at home he loves to slow dance and hold you impossibly close, his hands on your waste and resting his chin on top of your head or cheek.

ACTS OF SERVICE: he wants to give you the world. He will buy you the wallpaper you like and put it up himself to surprise you. He fixed practical things in the house such as cleaning up the ashes from the fireplace before you even notice how bad it had gotten. When out he keeps an umbrella just in case it rains and you need shelter.

Call him captain from time to time he eats it up. He loves it when you notice what he has fixed and complement his work.

WORDS OF AFFIRMATION: He always tells you how pretty you are and how lucky he is to have you. He also loves writing you letters, he finds it’s easier to express himself on paper, and that way you can keep his words and always read them again.

- This man is a wreck

- he loves deeply, and need you to do the same

- he has no idea how to court you, and got all his information from his mates that were just as clueless

- he was told to complement you, and he tried he really did, but it came off so terribly you laughed in his face, he took it as a win

- another time he had picked you some flowers, and you had dried them and hung them up. He loves to look at them now

- he had bought you a dinky looking broach in som second hand shop and was told it was all the rage now, and when he presented it to you you had to pretend to love it as to not hurt his feelings. You still wear it sometimes to show him you love it even if it’s doesn’t suite the dress you wear

- he loves your letters and keeps them in his jacket pocket.

- when he gets nervous or unsure he puts his hand in his pocket and touches the paper to reassure himself

- when he comes home, he loves to kiss your knuckles first than your lips, like a gentleman

- read to him to help him fall asleep

- makes you read letters you had written to him again and, again to remember your voice, and how you say every word, for the times you aren’t there

- loves it when you ride him, and he has his hands on your hips. Admires your body and the way it moves

ALEXANDER MCDONALD

- writes everything down in a book and you’re the first one to read it

- teaches you phrases in (Inuit)

- loves to teach you everything he knows about everything

- he loves it when you teach him things too. Often it is about women and the difference between women and men. He needs to understand everything!

- loves caressing your skin the feeling of his fingertips running along your feet than your calves and up gives him a rush

- loves it when you read together at night

- makes a mean cup of tea

- at fist he wasn’t proud of the fact he was finding a woman much younger than him attractive, and he had to get encouragement from Blanky to pursue you

- tries his best to court you

- he is old school in his ways to woo you. He takes you on strolls through the park, and takes you to a good cafe, his treat of course

- when it started to rain and neither of you had an umbrella he took off his jacket and held it over your head

- “I know I am older but I will take care of you. That I promise”

- take care of you he does.

- he’s a doctor, and knows what makes you shake. He learns everything about your body where to kiss you and touch you.

- it’s important to him that you feel as good as possible because his age does sometimes bother him, and he will compensate with making you feel amazing

THOMAS BLANKY

- he would be a bit insecure about the age gap. But after being told that you find it sexy he doesn’t care one bit.

- He hates being so far away from you. On long and tedious expeditions he would write as many letters as he could, and send them in different dates so you always had something to read

- when you walked with him to the ship he was boarding holding his hands many were unsure if your relation but he made sure to give you a long and passionate kiss and have a big smirk on his face as the men look wide eyed at him.

- he would talk about you as much as he could. He always told Captain Crozier he had no idea why you married him but he’s very happy you did. He wont shut up about your beauty, and it makes Crozier roll his eyes.

- Thomas wouldn’t sail for much longer after marrying you. He hates being away from you, and he would some days walk on deck and look like a kicked puppy thinking about you.

- he is a good cook but prefers your cooking. He loves treating you to breakfast in bed though.

- he’s an older man so his game isn’t as good as it would be had you met when he was younger but he does his best to please you in bed or anywhere you want to be pleased really.

- you made him feel young again. He tries to take better care of himself and that also means he drinks less, and tries to eat healthier.

- he’ll buy you anything you want if he can afford it. Loves to give you things. He would always bring you small trinkets when he had been sailing. And when he is home he buys you nice jewelry and clothes to show you how much he loves you.

- he snores. A lot. And you have to wake him up when he’s too loud.

- love, love, loves to cuddle! He can’t ge enough of you. Pulls you to sit on his lap and puts one hand on the small of your back and the other on your thigh. When cuddling in bed he has a steel grip on you.

EDWARD LITTLE

- at first he seems like a tough guy that can never break. But when he’s with you he’s a sucker.

- he begs you to touch him. Scratch his scalp as you cuddle, he loves it.

- he fell first and hard. He thought you were so smart and sweet, he loved your laugh, but he felt terrible confessing because he is asking you to live the life of a sailors wife and he knows it isn’t easy.

- will write you letters, but he isn’t great at poetry but he does try his best.

- he loves to make you laugh. Sometimes when he shaves he tries a bunch of different styles and shows them to you to make you laugh.

- lets you shave and trim his beard.

- you motivate him to be the best he possibly can be. He wants to give you a good life and home. He wants to be a good husband to you.

- loves to introduce you as “my sweet lady wife.” With a big grin on his face.

- this man is insatiable. He loves you and loves to please you. Loves eating, especially for breakfast, Best way to start the morning in his opinion. Happy wife happy life.

- he is amazed that a woman can be so pretty. He thinks you look like an angel.

- when you were first introduced he stuttered and blushed when you asked about anatomy and other medical things.

- you were the only thing in his mind and it was terribly distracting.

- asked you to be his wife after weeks of courting and almost passed out before he popped the big question. He was so scared of rejection.

- loves it when you ask him questions about his interests.

- he’s a gentle lover and loves kissing you all over and reciting the Latin words for the different parts he’s kissing in his head.

- he carries a small pocket tissue he took from you. Loves smelling it, it smells just like you and on long nights on the boat he would put it to his nose as he *erm* pleased himself and he does feel a bit of shame about it. But he can’t help it he loves you and misses you.

- sometimes when he thinks to long about you he starts getting a lump in his throat and teary eyed. He so luck to have you.
