Two methods to buy from Taobao:

The “easy” way - Taobao agents.

Purchasing from a Taobao agent is probably the easiest, and less headache way, to buy from Taobao. For most agent websites, you choose the item(s) you wish to buy and “add to cart”. The agent does the rest of the work for you.

Note: All agents charge a service charge on top of the item(s) cost and shipping.

They contact the shop to ask if the product is in stock.

They purchase the item for you and have it shipped to their Chinese warehouse.

Most agents will then take pictures of the item and send them to you for confirmation.

Most agents offer different shipping methods, from slow and cheap to fast and expensive.

They usually accept different forms of payment methods, including Paypal!

They can also do refunds and other troubleshooting easily, without you having to worry!

The “harder” way - Ordering direct!

I, personally, love ordering direct because its a challenge. If you’re like me and like a bit of a challenge or if you can understand Chinese, then ordering direct is actually really, really fun! But remember, by ordering direct from Taobao, you are responsible for everything!!

I’ve ordered direct from Taobao eight times now over the course of two years for all sorts of items. I really like it for my sewing supplies.

However, ordering direct is ONLY available to these countries: USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia,Taiwan, Macao, Japan, and Hong Kong.

For other countries, you must use an agent!

“Yeah, well next time don’t write about Gobstones. No one cares about Gobstones. So you get politics this week.”

“Parkinson, you get the gossip column again. Keep up the good work. Reader interest was high last week.”

Parkinson preened among the glares and Bitterwood had to wonder if she thrived on hostility.

“The rest of you still have work for tonight’s paper, so get to it.”

The way they scrambled would never not be amusing. “Hold up. I almost forgot. I need someone to interview Potter.”

The silence that followed was uncomfortable and no one would meet his eyes. 

“I suddenly remembered I have to take my kids to—well to something.”

“Parkinson, you don’t have kids.”

“I’m sick.” A cough and a fake sneeze followed before several people shouted that they too were sick.

“Look, I know he’s difficult—”

“That’s an understatement.”

“Keep interrupting me Smith and you’ll be on obituaries for a month,” Bitterwood threatened. “Potter isn’t the…friendliest but his name sells. His open house for the Youth Centre is in a few days and if we don’t get the scoop then someone else will.”

“Sir, with all due respect, we’ve never gotten the scoop when it comes to Potter.”

“If you like your job, one of you will volunteer and just maybe we can turn our luck around.”

“I’ll do it.”

Lan Xichen: *watching the coffin with a frown* Do you guys think Wei Wuxian has been over there a while?

Jiang Cheng: *shrugs* Wen Qionglin was one of his only friends, he’s got a lot to process.

Wei Wuxian: *stands up in excitement* I got it!

Wen Ning: *suddenly stands up from the coffin and looks around at everyone watching him in horror*

Lan Wangji: ...did he just...

Jiang Cheng: Reanimate that corpse? Yeah. Looks like it.

Wen Qing: ...oh my god. Is he... himself?

Wen Ning: *looks at her with happy face* I am me.

Wen Qing: *leads him out of the room so not as many people are staring at him*

Wen Ning: *tosses the bouquet they were gonna burry him with over his shoulder, it lands right in Lan Qiren’s lap*
