My friend and I went to our favourite cat cafe! They were all so cuddly and sweet. I want to adopt the one in my lap! Seconds after I sat down she climbed into my lap and stayed there for half an hour or so. My legs fell asleep!

Before I start my new job, I thought I should take my first solo trip to a cat café! I usually go with my friend, but this was fun! The spot is very nice and had so many goodies! Delicious drinks! The cats were very playful and not up for cuddles but seeing them jump and run about was amazing! The Tuxedo cat, Chip, and I became good friends! He hopped up on a shelf and mewed in my ear which startled me and would hang around me. HE WAS SO CUTE. LE SIGH. I’ll adopt a cat someday...🐱

<p>Yesterday my friend and I went to a farmers market in our city! It was the first time we went to this particular market and it was so amazing! Free delicious food samples everywhere! I purchased some macarons, edible cookie dough, fudge and an enamel pin from a donut shop of their mascot! </p> <p>We then finished the day with “The Incredibles 2” and it was such a fantastic film. I’m so thrilled with the sequel. Everyone who has seen the first film should see the second!

It’s been a while~ My coworker quit so a few of us decided to go hunt down a food truck that makes delicious bao! I had a pork belly bao and it was so utterly delicious! The truck is known as KaBao and we were very lucky because they were just about to shut down for the day when we arrived! I bought a tinker backpack. The one I was using was far to big so I caved a bought a kanken! Such a wonderful bag... it was incredibly useful during my vacation where I was hiking most of the time! Did some doodling and I wish FFXV had a rhythm game! It would be awesome! I imagine Noctis in. A weird belly shirt? Still looking princely? IDK. Bought Kabi Nagata’s “My Solo Exchange Diary”. It’s an amazing book and I can’t express how I connect so well with this book. Can’t wait for the next volume! My friend and I spent a day at a cat café! The owners were incredibly kind and chatted with us while we sat with amazing cats. There was one named Ankah that was so sweet and affectionate. It hurt my heart to leave her. I WILL GET MY OWN SPACE SO I CAN ADOPT HER. Yesss.

It’s been a busy few days for me! My doujinshi from Mage (mgmg_ff on Twitter I believe?) came in and it’s gorgeous. They wrote beautiful IgNoct stories that feel true to their characters. I highly recommend them! My friend and I went to a cat pop-up shop! We didn’t see any kittens (we decided to leave so that others could get into the store), but we did get free swag and cotton candy! I also bought some tshirts and more pins (Tees from Stay Home Club and pins from My Cat is People). Finally some Hobonichi stuffs! My Hobonichi has grown in size..... (washi tape and party bug sticker from Gelato Bear on Twitter and Eevee Bean sticker from Milkbun on Twitter).

Busy busy week. I started three new otome games and I love them. They’re wonderful. I was actually shocked because I ordered them on a Thursday and they arrived on Sunday morning. WHHHAAAATTT. Purchased new acrylic pieces and stickers which are 💯. My friend returned home from a business trip and despite the cold, wet weather we took her German Shepard/Huskey mix dog for a walk. We managed to tire her out WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. We found a gorgeous view and a little library. Amazing what you find when you explore! Finally I went to a craft show with a friend and purchased many items. Links to the creators can me found on my Instagram page!

My friend and I decided to hit up Free Comic Book Day at our favourite comic book shop! Every year they go all out with demos, comic artists, free comics, deals and more. Really, these guys do it right. The line up wasn’t horrible as the system the shop had worked so that everyone was in line and always shifting. We then followed it up with a marathon of “Jessica Jones” season 2! WHAT AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER.

Saw “Avengers: Infinity War” and I loved it. It was a fabulous film, but I do wish they hadn’t crammed as many characters in as they did? I really wish we could have seen more of what Steve and his group have been up too. Hopefully the next film? Or Marvel maybe is giving this info elsewhere? IDK. I wasn’t feeling all that great on Wednesday so I slept mostly. Managed to get up and do some Hobonichi layouts so that’s a good thing! Finally I stopped at Michael’s today now that I’m feeling a bit better and bought a ton of washi tape. My addiction is real and I won’t stop lol.

My friend and I met up for a shopping excursion but I arrived WAY too early. So I pulled out my sketchbook and thought about the rabbits that lived in my area. They’re skittish little creatures so I wish I could get a bit closer to them. Of course I needed some inspiration so I pulled out some bookmarks from Eecks (Twitter). One of my best finds was some macaroons. They were delicious! I’m trying to sketch daily but it hasn’t happened so I’m trying to sketch every other day. FINALLY. I preordered the second round of the Fire Emblem Lords zine and I’m so happy with my purchase. It’s gorgeous and features many of my favourite characters. Next up: my washi tape box! I love it lol

I’m extremely happy that I’ve been able to save enough money to purchase zines and stickers from my favourite artists. They’re extremely inspirational people! It’s really encouraged me to keep drawing, to keep trying. Maybe someday I’ll be the artist I’ve always dreamt of! Celebrated Easter with my family! We always celebrate with ham and a gold bunny on the table. This tradition is important to me! The wine is there for pretties only. I don’t drink. 😂 A quick GIF of my Hobonichitecho. It’s been very amazing to go through and write down the good moments of a day. Since then, my washi tape collection has EXPLODED. I regret nothing. I ordered a fanzine of Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates. She’s such a great character so I had to order it. I was shocked by the cute packaging and can’t thank the host enough. It’s been so cold out, even though it’s April! So I decided to force spring to come by slipping on my sneakers. I really want to buy a pair of Vans now. 🤣

One of the houses in my neighbourhood has a little village in their front yard. I love it so I had to take pictures. I think that’s why I love walking. I would miss stuff like this if I drove! Also sketching again. I need to learn perspective better. :|

I’ll finish these suckers eventually. I’m such a slow drawer. 🤣

I bought a ton of washi tape, stickers and books from Laughingbear (GelatoBear on Twitter). I’m genuinely in love with her stuff and she’s an inspiration to me so to get this package was amazing. Everyone should visit her store!

With beautiful weather out, I’m reading a bit more. And still playing FFXV Royal Edition because WHY NOT.
