He laughed bit it was cut short at the sudden shake of the earth. He watched as the events occurred before his eyes. He glared at the man as HART-1 shook on his head.
"You are nobody to be trading me for someone. You don’t own me!" He shouted back at him as his eyes shifted towards the large gun. Which Rage was in the way of as he worked on the mainframe.
'Aren't you a feisty one,' the man responded, 'You're almost as interesting as you seemed from hearing about you. But, you seem to have missed a little detail. I do what I want around here, dear boy.'
The gun was shifted to point at Valent as a dark smirk spread across the man's face.
'If you don't comply, I'll simply have fun watching you be destroyed!' he exclaimed, cackling maniacally.
'It's not like we have any intention of letting any of your survive, after all,' one of the harpies added darkly.

'It would be interesting if you could,' Deadalus mumbled to herself, 'Maybe we would stand a chance if he were to come now...'
As if fate had been waiting for such a line, the entire room shook as the sound of a large blast echoed through the building. Another followed it, but the distinct sound of splintering followed, and the area shook more violently as a third blast echoed and part of the roof crashed to the floor, going straight through Mateemo's intangible form and narrowly missing HART-1, who scurried back up onto Valent's head in fear. Three beings descended through the hole in a rather arrogant manner. Two of them were nearly identical, and resembled harpies of sorts, and the third was a man with long, blond hair reaching his knees and obscuring his eyes. As they landed, one of the harpies pointed a rather large gun implement at Mateemo's mainframe.
'Ah Deadalus, it's great to see you again,' the man chimed in a goading and malicious manner, 'I'm here on important business. You see, I'm incredibly bored, and I heard you have two new people here. I'll trade you - your pathetic AI's life for theirs.'

“I don’t mind at all actually.” He said with smile. “Thank you. Uh what are you doing in the middle of a park at night? If you don’t mind me asking.” He questioned while looking around.
'Um, well, I was looking around for something to make an article about...' Shadow Nym responded, 'If I don't get one in within the next week, I don't get paid this month, you see...'

'There is nothing that can be done,' Mateemo responded, 'If he comes, he will bring the Harpies, and we cannot fight against such power. Not even my creator can top their strength.'
Deadalus sighed and wrung her hands together anxiously.

I'm not on here much because of many factors. First and foremost, college is finishing up, and I have been really, REALLY ill recently, to the point I've been forbidden from drawing by Gypsy. Secondly, I've actually been losing interest in this blog. Believing that Rage had dropped my thread was kinda the first nail in that coffin, and I haven't really had time to be interested in anything lately.
I will come back, and I'll come on sometimes and just queue a bunch of shit and vanish again without a word

Ezekiel returned the start with equal intensity, placing her instrument in her bag and extending her hand to the side, and a pigeon flew over and perched one of her fingers. She drew her arm back in so the pigeon was at eye level, and changed her attention over to it.
'If heroes exist,' she muttered nonchalantly, 'Why do the bad guys always win?'
'I suppose I shouldn't complain,' she added, ruffling the feathers on the head of the pigeon with her free hand, 'People probably see my brother as a bad guy. They never stop to think about how he was forced into it.'
She slipped the pouch off of the pigeon's leg and it set off once more in a flurry of feathers.
'Nice to meet you, Decker,' she concluded, shaking his hand, 'And I think you'll find that I'm pretty much always calm. You don't want to see me angry.'
