Sprouting Seasons is a slice-of-life webcomic following Audrey, a new farmer trying to rebuild her late grandfather's legacy. While she moved to escape a monotonous life, adapting to Pelican Town isn't as easy as planting seeds. As she tackles the daily struggles of farm life, Audrey’s journey becomes about more than just crops. Alongside familiar townspeople, she will have to navigate grumpy villagers, aggressive slimes, and... a troublemaker? Will this clumsy newcomer be the exact light of hope the town needs to grow?

sure, why not. her name is bug, an alien who ended up on earth by accident. she got "adopted" by the old man who found her. generally has somewhat off-putting vibes. doesn't talk to most of pelican town, and they don't talk to her. maru is somewhat of an exception, because bug is curious about tech and maru is happy to have someone to listen to her infodump (and also she knows bug doesn't have any other friends)

i plan to make her queerplatonic roommates with krobus :3

aroace, nonbinary but doesn't mind being seen as female. the planet she's from has either very little concept of gender or a very different conception of gender than we do. they do however have something equivalent to romance, which she was very disappointed to find on earth as well.

the name "bug" originally started as a petname from krobus lol. in game she's just called gilli bc i didn't have a name for her yet. if i made more OCs i suspect i would have many whose deadname is my name 😅 names are hard

i do want to flesh out her gender somewhat... but for now, she/her pronouns
