Hehheh.. so I heard. I was predisposed at the time, but ah- from what I heard the Doctor shouting about when he got back, it wasn’t fun. 

Oh! Yes! The rocket! You know, it’s funny, most people don’t notice it! It’s stuck in there pretty deep. You know, I think it’s the only thing keeping me alive! Sure, sometimes it likes to light up and dig a little bit further, but I can deal with the headaches! I’ve learnt.

It’s hard to think about. I was working, I know that- Weapons engineering. Top of the line stuff. Lots of explosions. Really fun! Pretty cheap. I remember them cutting our safety budget.

And.. I think something went wrong.

I remember smoke and confusion and someone yelling and next thing I know, i’m on the ground and I can’t see and I think I nearly ate one of my teeth. Oh, and half my face was gone. Just, peeled right off! Heh. I wish i’d kept it. I could put it on the fridge.

Of course, really it was lucky it was me and not someone else. None of them would have known how to fix it- they weren’t as talented as me. It’s all kind of fuzzy now- but it hurt. A lot!
