I’ve been a SwanQueen fan for years—way before life got chaotic. This ship means the world to me. It’s comfort, escape, strength, and all the things I wish existed more in real life. Emma and Regina choosing each other? That idea got me through a lot.

Then in 2022, my real life flipped. My husband came out as gay, and honestly—I was happy for him. I really was. I’ve always believed in people living their truth (I’m pan myself). But what hurt was the way he did it. The gaslighting. The way he treated me like I was the horrible person. Suddenly I was a single mom with cerebral palsy, trying to hold it together for my daughter. It was hell, not gonna lie.

That’s when I clung even tighter to SwanQueen. And I started creating more—writing prompts, messing around with digital art, anything to stay sane.

Just to be clear: all the SwanQueen prompts I post are my own ideas. Every one of them. Sometimes they come out messy or way too long (I tend to ramble lol), so I use ChatGPT to tidy them up—fix the grammar, make them flow better, sometimes shorten them a bit when I go off on a tangent. But the stories? The feelings? That’s all me.

As for the art—I can draw, but not well enough to get what's in my head onto paper. I also don’t always have the energy, especially with my disability and parenting on my own. So I use AI tools like Canva, Procreate, and ChatGPT to help create and polish my designs. But I don’t just hit “generate” and walk away. I spend hours editing, choosing, tweaking. It’s still my vision.

I know AI art is a touchy subject in fandom, and if that’s not your thing, I respect that. No hard feelings if you unfollow.

But for those of you who’ve stuck around, thank you. Seriously. This whole creative thing has saved my mental health, helped me earn just a little to treat my daughter to days out or new clothes, and reminded me that I’m still me. Not just someone’s ex or someone’s mom—but a person with stories to tell.
