“It has, it has, and let me tell you, no matter how many times it happens, it never gets any less...unpleasant.” She looks down at the table in front of her, absentmindedly twirling a lock of her hair around her finger.

Oh is that so? Good for you then, I guess. I’m not really into that stuff myself. Not anymore that is. [ He sighs a bit ] Oh I don’t think the help of any God can save me anymore now. I’m beyond help. [ Snorts ] [ Oh and he did saw- but the slight squeeze in his hand is enough to keep him shut up about it ] 

[ Chuckles a bit ] Well, can’t say that you don’t have a point. Probably, at least. Good to hear that your prayers have not been unanswered then. [ He immediately notices when he gets pulled in the wrong direction, but he doesn’t immediately comment on it; in stead considers how long it’d take her to realize this herself, but eventually gently pulls her in the opposite direction anyways, not wanting to risk her getting pissed at him because they made a gigantic detour. Though he wouldn’t have minded the extra time with her himself ofc. ]

I’m sure they were. Although you probably should have been more careful. The first time I saw you, if I had known any better, I would’ve thought you were Medeinė or something. I’m not sure or the real Goddess would’ve been so grateful about imposters. [ He would have made a bit of a face at the swinging at first, but then just rolled his eyes, albeit with a bit of a smile he is trying to hide by looking at the other side ]  Hm. I remember yes. I still know where it is, so we can go.

[ She knows him too well damnit. But he is smug about knowing she can’t react to it anyways. ] Oh I think you know exactly who I am talking about, miss Tarzan. There are just sights you don’t forget. [ Grins ] Of course, I am not insinuating you were not absolutely attractive with all that dirt on your face and the twings and leaves in your hair. I’m sure a lot of the forest spirits thought so at least. [ But he eagerly takes a hold of her hand and nods forward. ] So. where does the lady want to walk to?

[ Chuckles ] Pfft. I can easily say the same about someone else. [ Takes advantage of the fact she can’t turn her head around to look at him because of the braiding and sticks out his tongue at her briefly ] Alright there, all done now. Now you look a bit less like a spirit of the wild woods.

[ Smiles a bit, and shrugs ] Perhaps. Eventually. We will see. She is very stubborn after all. Can’t blame her, I guess. [ Watches her, and follows her example; sitting down behind her. ] Alright. And please. It’s for your own sake, really. 

[ Ok he is a bit disappointed she didn’t give more of a reaction, but he’ll accept his defeat because he loves her so much ] Fair enough.

[ He can’t help raising a brow at her when she inhales, and lets out a snort. ] Hmm. I already know spring’s here. Darja ran into my home covered in flower petals and cheeks thick from bee-stings at least three times this week alone. Lovely time of the year.

[ Makes a vague ‘tsk’ noise and shakes his head a bit ] [ He thinks for a bit ] Oh yeah I know you will. I’m glad to hear that I don’t have to bother remembering these. Leaves me with more room to remember all the times you went down face first into the mud because you weren’t watching your step. [ Grins back at her ] But don’t worry. Secrets are safe, right?

[ Gives a nod, and proceeds to ready the baby doge ] [ it only takes a minute and there he is with very excited puppy doge ] [ also offers her his arm ]

Of course. My lips are only as sealed as your own. [<3]

Oh don’t worry I’m very aware. I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually considered deep frying me on at least one occasion back then. [ Eyeroll, and averts his eyes because slight embarrassment. ] [ coughs ] –I have no recollection of such a thing ever happening. 

[ There’s a twinkle in his eyes when he watches her stretch I mean ] Mhm. If you want, fine. I will take Darja then as well. So she’s had her daily walk already too then. If you don’t mind? 

Of course you don’t -- but do not worry. I remember it well enough for the both of us. [<3] [gently nudges him with her elbow] Lucky for you, that little secret is safe with me.

[ He only gives a roll of the eye at that ] I see. Maybe so. I’m flattered you believe me to have such great skills then. [ He frowns for a split second when she turns her head and causes the braid to slip out of his grip, but he (gently) manages to grab the loose end with one hand before it unravels ] Careful. You’re gonna ruin my masterpiece like that. 

[ Makes a bit of a face at her request, then turns his head towards the window. ] Well.. Alright then. [ To which he puts an elastic in her hair to keep the braid from falling apart when he lets go of it, and proceeds to stand up; still eyeing her. ] Do you want me to carry you too, princess? [ Smirk ]

[small snort] If you can. Remember those days when it was the opposite? You were so tiny, I could have eaten you up in one bite! And the way you would cling to my dress when you were afraid--!
