            suzume  has  the  ability  to  be  pretentious  without  even  talking  ,   one  step  in  the  room  and  the  other  would  KNOW  she’s  someone  important  .   and  the  norm  ,   you  see  ,   back  in  japan  -  was  everyone  begging  to  be  on  her  good  side  .   it’s  not  like  that  anymore  ,   and  while  she  hated  it  at  first  ,   it’s  grown  on  her  ;   just  like  elliot  slowly  did  .    ‘  i’m  almost  disappointed  i  wasn’t  invited  .  ’    but  quite  frankly  ,   if  she’s  not  involved  ,   why  should  she  care ?   she’s  suzume  minamoto  ,   for  god’s  sake !   zu  chuckles  ,   legs  curling  underneath  herself  as  she  looks  at  elliot  .    ‘  what ?  you  never  commanded  a  person  before ?  you  should  give  it  a  shot  .   you’ve  got  what  ,   one  more  year  to  go ?  use  the  advantage  you  deserve  as  an  upperclassman  .  ’    listens  carefully  to  the  words  of  the  other  ,   head  tilting  to  the  side  .    ‘  and  how’d  you  like  it ?  did  it  give  you  more  of  a  yearning  heart  to  be  in  other  countries ?  ’  

          kassandra  is  too  upbeat  for  her  own  good  ,   suzume  thinks  .   girl  really  needs  to  get  her  shit  in  order  ,   more  so  than  zu  does  -  but  that’s  truly  none  of  her  business  .    ‘  i  know  i  am  .   and  i  could  get  anyone  i  wanted  ,   if  i  wanted  .  ’    and  that’s  the  question  ,   isn’t  it ?  does  she  want  something  deeper  than  what’s  already  there ?  to  be  determined  .    ‘  i  believe  that  would  depend  on  your  definition  of  friends  ,   kassandra  -  ’   she  says  with  a  sigh  ,   giving  in  to  her  cousin  just  a  bit  .  

        ‘  fair  ,   but  i  almost  like  the  idea  of  being  hated  .   i  was  close  ,   with  one  of  those  -  to  being  hated  .  ’    tilts  her  head  back  ,   looks  up  at  him  through  dark  lashes  ,   darkness  passing  through  her  dark  for  a  fleeting  moment  .   ‘  that  carmichael-allister  guy  .   his  brother  tried  to  kill  me  .   so  i  threatened  him  .  ’    she  really  needs  to  get  better  at  story  telling  .  

              ‘  has  anyone  ever  told  you  what  an  irritating  creature  you  can  be  ,   kassandra ?  ’    sometimes  it  makes  so  much  sense  that  she’s  adopted  ,   because  just  look  at  her  vibes  compared  to  the  rest  of  her  cousins  .    ‘  i  would  assume  so  .   i  am  cute  and  her  actions  don’t  show  otherwise  .  ’    brow  raises  at  her  .    ‘  i  already  have  ,   multiple  times  .  ’   kissing  was  involved  some  of  those  times  .

            has  to  LAUGH  at  thought  of  her  cooking  ,   she  shaking  her  head  .    ‘  i  don’t  do  cooking  .  ’    she  does  violence  and  revenge  .   anyways  .    ‘  i  ordered  my  favorite  chef  back  home  to  come  in  to  cook  for  me  .  ’    with  permission  from  her  aunt  ,   of  course  .  

             ‘  she’s  competent  ,   pretty  .  ’    and  that’s  all  she’s  really  going  to  tell  anyone  about  elliot  besides  elliot  herself  .   suzume  minamoto  doesn’t  waste  words  .    ‘  why ?  ’   it’s  asked  in  a  monotone  ,   girl  straightening  out  and  shaping  her  bangs  to  perfection  .  

        ‘  and  god  knows  half  this  school  needs  some  character  to  it  .  ’    because  everyone  is  so  bland  with  their  tragic  sob  stories  and  she’s  bored  .   life  is  shit  ,   stop  pitying  yourself !    ‘  you  and  i  will  rule  this  world  one  day  ,   sis  .  ’
