Today I hiked the Appalachian Trail in the Smoky Mountains; one of the toughest parts of the entire Appalachian Trail. I started at Newfound Gap, then followed the trail to Boulevard Trail, then went to The Jump Off. It was beautiful but kicked my ass. My hiking shoes need to be broken in as they are literally bruising my ankles and my entire body hurts after the 7 mile hike. This seriously is the most charming, adorable, wonderful book I've ever read. Of course, start with book 1: Stargirl. This is book 2: Love, Stargirl. It has this adorable little girl in it that I picture as a cute lil black girl with 2 pom pom ponytails with cute little barrettes. She's always tagging along with Stargirl and says the funniest things. Ive never pictured a book so vividly without watching a movie to have character faces to insert.. but this one does it. Dootsie makes you laugh and cry and feel so much... I wish both girls were real life and could be my best friends.. #stargirl #lovestargirl #jerryspinelli #books
