Still going on with Tales of Xillia and still loving everything about this game. I should probably do something in the way of fan art for this game since all I have to share is Tales of the Abyss fan art.

Still having a blast playing Tales of Xillia so here's another Abyss fan art piece!

Though not from Xillia, I do have more Abyss art to share. This one is of Tear Grants. Simple piece where I was just testing out going digital and getting a feel for the tablet pen and strokes. According to my files, this was drawn on May 10, 2008.

As for Xillia, I'm loving every character I have come across for the main cast. Looking forward to every night to continue this game.

Starting Tales of Xillia tonight so have some Tales of the Abyss fan art!

After being enabled and hyping it during my broadcasts, tonight is finally the night I begin Tales of Xillia. I have heard many positive things about this game so I am quite excited.

I figured if I am starting a Tales game tonight, how about I share some Tales fan art I have done? I only have fan art from Tales of the Abyss since I greatly enjoyed that game. ...though I thought I did a piece of Stahn before... I must check my archives later.

These three pieces were suppose to be meshed together for something on a grand scale for ruakichan ...also because I have a bad habit of not being able to draw on small scale. ...and a bad habit of not finishing art. ... ... ... ... T_T

It's not that bad I guess. Van looks a bit stiff and I would probably redo his face and Luke's too. And the great part is by moving this to a digital piece, I can just resize the canvas as I please! No need to worry about running out of space! Huzzah!

I still have a few other Tales of the Abyss fan art pieces that I will share during the week so look for that later.

Grand Archer Rena (Elsword) Fan Art WIP - 2013/10/19

Been a while since I've posted on this. After two nights of staying up very late, progress has finally been made on coloring of my fan art piece of Grand Archer Rena from action MMO RPG elsword.

My plan was to go with the whole cel shading look since that is what I am most comfortable with but I decided to fool around with the gradient method I've seen time and time again.

Both aren't the greatest but it's satisfies me for now. ...until I wake up and look at it again. Another thing I did is color the outline of the piece with the corresponding color rather than just having a black outline.

The eyes are incomplete and really just a placeholder for the time being.I'm close to finishing the "centerpiece" and then it's trying to color the background to look decent. That is going to be my biggest struggle since backgrounds is not a strength of mine.

Talesformers Oracon Leader Master Van

Transforms from flying attack station to robot and back!

Some piece I did sometime in 2007 I think? I don't even know how this came to be! I'm sure from some conversation ruakichan and I were having. Nevertheless, I like Transformers. I was into Tales of the Abyss at the time. Why not blend the two for Talesformers™!?

Not sure why I went with Van for this idea. I guess I was going with leaders first? It only made sense for Master Van's role that he would be something of a giant menace, so why not make him a flying fortress with Eldrant!?

I wanted this to make sense for his robot mode that I went through the trouble of laying out the transformation from Eldrant to his robot mode.

This piece is not as great as I remember it but it would still be fun to complete. If anything, I love the face and those robo-brows. Pfffft~
