The night started fine, He wasnât a man for loud music or liquor, but seeing you having fun dancing with your friends satisfy and intrigue him just enough of the night.
Then suddenly youâre gone from his field of vision, the wasnât remotely worried as he knows youâre very capable on your own if not a little reckless. 15 minutes passed by, now heâs worried, itâs been too long for you to not be with your friends. The more observant he was the more uncomfortable and a sense of protectiveness surged in him. What knocked the camel off was the random man putting his hand on your shoulder, not taking the signs that youâre obviously uncomfortable.
âPardon for my sudden intrusionâ he spoke, elegantly but assertive, screwllumâs gloved hand reached to brush off his hand from your shoulders. a tilt of his head, made him seemingly felt more intimidating if he could smile itâd probably give the guy massive goosebumps

On arriving at his estate, he led you to the privacy of his own quarters, he was quiet, too quiet which made you uneasy. Did you make him mad? was he jealous? You didnât even know he could be.

PART I
In the darkest of nights it was the most wonderful time of day for you, as itâs the time for collecting oddly well made scrap from a dump youâve had the fortune to come across- though it did have a lot of security cameras for a landfill. Tonight is no different, you were at the dump looking for more scrap for a small project of yours. with the help of a gadget youâve made previously before finding this goldmine. It helps with camouflage and hide you from the cameras.
As you collected the spare scraps and dropped them in a bag youâve brought, you came across an Omnic that had been Dilapidated, some missing limbs, cracked faceplate, dim glows from itâs LED shining on the forehead, and pants thatâs almost reduced to a large table cloth. Youâve never thought youâd see an Omnic with this particular model again, outside of schematics youâve stolen, after the Omnic crisis shut down the creation of that model. Which made you question, why is this model here in the first place? Itâs been 30 years these models shouldnât be here. Theyâre either sentient or scrapped.
Shuffling around the junkyard looking for any remains of the Omnicâs body parts, while you did find most of the parts youâve also bagged some interesting looking golden orbs to study back at your make shift home lab. After placing all the parts of the Omnic in the bag you made your swift escape back to your house.
After returning home, carefully you mounted the omnicâs body on your lab table keeping each part in place, thankfully the important and more resource intensive parts werenât missing saving you a lot of money- your parents money to be exact. Sitting down at the computer next to the table, you pulled out the schematics of the Omnic to begin your repairs of the poor robot. It wasnât too complicated but it did take several days before the robot looked better than you first took them in.
Swing the door open to see the Omnic move on their own, looking around the room to figure out where they were, before they set their eyes on you
âHi- uh, sorry for the mess, it took a while to fix you upâ you laughed to yourself awkwardly as you made your way over, silence filled the room as their gaze fixed on you, studying you, or spacing out you didnât really know since they werenât installed with expressive facial features. The silence in the thick air could be cut through with a knife, making you more uncomfortable by the second
âSo uh- whatâs your name?â You pry breaking the ice momentarily as you looked away to your computer
