A soft-spoken and kind young man, David had a bit of a traumatic childhood that culminated in an awful accident when he was just seven years of age. His father, William Afton, and his 'uncle' Henry Emily owned Fredbear's Family Diner, and David was never a fan of going there, neither was he a fan of Fredbear himself.
The bullying endured at the hands of Michael culminated in an event that the papers called the 'Bite of '83', where Michael forced him to 'give Fredbear a kiss', and the animatronic's jaws clamped down on his head, causing grievous injury.
After a long fight in the hospital, however, David ended up pulling through, but had to relearn a lot of things in order to function normally. He still sometimes uses a wheelchair to get around when he needs it sometimes, and he speaks a little slower, but he's still smart and strong.
Haven forgiven his older brother and formed a bit of a strong bond with him subsequently, David considers himself a fighter. Having taken the time to get past old fears and conquer his nightmares, he now proudly boasts a scar on his head where he, in his own words, 'beat death away', which he characterized as a tall, lanky, puppet-like creature.
David sometimes uses a wheelchair. He often prefers this mode of transportation.
When he doesn't have a wheelchair, assume he has a cane.
David has short brown hair and a big noticeable scar on his forehead/head.
His favorite animatronic is Dreadbear and often likens himself to it, like he was brought back to life.
