Today I felt very disappointed by my dear friend. She had agreed to plans with me later this week and while discussing a trip she had earlier in the week she had not put two and two together that these two things would conflict.

I understand it was an oversight but I think I’m tired of being the coordinator , the overseer , the make-shit-happen-er: she’s a wonderful friend in a million and one ways but her disorganization and flakiness makes me feel very … unimportant and frustrated.

This same friend and I are discussing a possible trip to Mexico in October, to be paid for by our company, as a work related trip. There is some leg work that has to be done to make this happen and it feels as if I would have to be the one to make it happen. And I’m just tired of that.
