It was the sidekick. The slouchy guy with the glasses who was supposed to be Loisâs partner in crime but was probably more like a shadow, everyone was in a shadow when next to Lois Lane. If it was resentment or pride she felt, Lucy couldnât tel you. Maybe a little bit of both depending on the day. âItâs Kurt, right?â She didnât really keep up with the articles, glancing at his name trailing behind her sisterâs. Lucy took the seat across from him without permission. âListen Kurt, this is my favorite coffee shop.â She declared. âSo, for the love of god, do not bring my sister here.â
Clark lifted his head from the menu when he heard someone speak. She was standing beside the table, glancing down at him from where she stood. Specifically staring at him and calling him the wrong name. "Oh, actually it's-" He tried to get a word in to correct her but the girl just kept going and he took that time to curiously look her over. She looked like she could be related to Lois. He knew Lois's features well. She slid in across from him describing how it was her favourite coffee shop and finally she mentioned her sister. He couldn't help but smile at the mention of Lois. "You must be Lucy." Clark said, "Um, sure. Okay, but don't you want to see your sister?"
