A little bit about yourself: I work in Direct Care, which leaves me with a lot of free time for roleplays, but drains me emotionally and mentally and can be unpredictable in hours. I am crafty, fabric is my medium. I love crocheting, sewing, embroidery, doll making, all that good stuff. Baking is p-good too.
Recently started exercising with my brother, whose company also drains me spiritually but fills me emotionally sometimes. Will try to moderate this to keep muse.
My writing specialties are Hurt/Comfort and Humor. I also have a little experience with Action.
Why you wish to join: Seems like a good opportunity, and thereâs not a lot of competition for specific roles. Iâm kinda floating, trying to find my roleplaying niche.

Sample Writing Piece:
The sound of explosions and battle filled the air as Amethyst came to. Air rushed passed her, whipping her hair around her face and creating a sense of vertigo. Thin, strong bonds encircled her, holding her securely. At first the small quartz thought it was rope, though it felt far too smooth; cables, perhaps. Her eyes flew open to search the area as she dug into her mind for her memories. The first thing she saw was the underside of Pearlâs face, looking outward, jaw set in determination. Further inspection revealed her binding to be the gemâs arms. The ancient warrior landed with her charge gracefully, kneeling protectively and calculating the situation.
Amethyst turned her head, looking toward the ensuing battle. Garnet and Steven seemed to be keeping the Hydra distracted while Pearl got her to safety to recover. Pearlâs body tensed as she moved to jump again. The monster was coming closer to the pair. Amethyst struggled in the womanâs grasp; not enough to throw her off balance, but enough to alert her to the gemâs consciousness. Instead of jumping, the intelligent gem looked down, eyes wide.
âAmethyst! Are you alright?â she inquired, carefully releasing her hold on the quartzâ lower body while keeping the monster in her peripheral vision.
Her legs hit the ground, vision clearing and memories falling into place. Sheâd been goofing around with Steven while they were all looking for a corrupted gem when she stepped onto a pitfall trap and fell into the monsterâs lair. The Hydra, a beast with replacement snake heads and a spiderâs body, was what theyâd been hunting. As she hit the ground and looked into itâs eyes, sheâd passed out, âYeah, Iâm fine.â
âGood,â Pearl breathed, placing her hand on the Quartzâ shoulder, âWe need your help.â With that, the lithe gem relinquished her hold completely and jumped off into battle. Amethyst gritted her teeth, revving herself up. She summoned her dual whips. Sheâd teach it a lesson itâll never forget.
With a flick of her arm and wrist, her whips were sufficiently wrapped around the monsterâs legs. She pulled hard, sending the creature onto its side with a howl of indignation. With that, it revealed its weak point, a toothed opening in its underside.
âThere!â Garnet called, arms wrapped around snapping snake heads, âAttack its belly!â
Pearl dashed in, zigzagging between the two heads who curled up to protect its underbelly while rocking to get back on its feet. She was almost upon it when it spat a thick and sticky secretion, much like was currently wrapped around Amethystâs foot from the pit-fall. The force of the expulsion threw Pearl against the wall. The goo trapped her.
âPearlâ Amethyst cried. She let go of her weapons and ran over to help her teammate. The gem squirmed under the weight of the glue-like substance. Where would she even begin?
âJust go!â Pearl commanded, âIâm fine, help the others!â The Quartz watched her struggle for a second before rejoining the fight. She rematerialized her whips, turning her focus back to the gem monster. It had made its way back to its feet and was viciously snapping its heads at Garnet and Steven. The fusion held the child in her arms, hopping away from the maw of the beast. It was too dangerous to try attacking right now, even with Stevenâs shield. Amethyst wrapped her whips around the creatureâs necks, trying to wrangle it, but they were too strong, and easilly threw her. She flew up into the ceiling of the cave, narrowly missing a stalactite. Letting her weapon disintegrate, she fell to the ground. She summoned a new pair of weapons, using the momentum from her drop to power her roll. With a surge of fire, she charged her whips and spun, becoming a flaming ball of power. The Quartz shot toward the distracted monster, hitting it right in the side. The corrupted gem screeched, stumbling. Garnet used that moment to throw thunderous punches, pushing it the rest of the way over.
âAmethyst, tie it up!â their leader commanded, heavy gauntlets pinning it to the floor. Steven ran forward, trying to help. The whip master did as told, effectively binding its legs together. Garnet released her hold on the creature. Using her powerful leg, she broke off a stalagmite to pierce its physical form. Just as she was about to strike the killing blow, the legs broke off. Its mouth was revealed, and it shot out another gooey web, thrusting Garnet up into the air, and gluing her to the ceiling.
âGarnet!â Steven hollered in fear, before also being shot. The monster had rolled to the side, counter-attacking its assailants. Amethyst dodged, having just enough warning to avoid being taken down. This was bad. It shot out a couple more goo-shots while waiting for its legs to regenerate, rocking to aim. The lower-most heads pushed it onto its bottom, legs finally appearing. It scuttled toward the remaining Crystal Gem, heads snapping like a turtle. Terror gripped at her heart, how was she supposed to do this by herself? âAmethyst!â Steven called, âYou got this! I believe in you!â
 Garnet chimed in, âStay calm!â
âYou can do this!â Pearl asserted.
They were right. She could do this; she just had to stay calm and focus. Steven was depending on her. Amethyst took an unnecessary steadying breath. So, it could detatch and regenerate its limbs, spit sticky webs, weak point was its mouth, which spit the webs. She had this. She could do this. The Quartz hopped onto its head, propelling herself into the air. Curling into a ball, she charged downward onto the monsterâs back. Squalking furiously, it swivelled its heads around. Amethyst summoned her whips once again. Digging her feet into its sides, she wrapped her weapon around the necks of the beast as though to reign it. The reason she was thrown earlier was because her weight wasnât enough to counteract the brute strength of the monster. Now that she was rooted, she could incorperate her own strength. Having lost control of its vision, the corrupted gem started running.
Which was exactly what Amethyst wanted it to do.
Using her makeshift reigns, she hooted, feeling rather like a cowgirl. As the creature picked up speed, she directed it up a mound, over the best set of stalagmites. She launched herself up to the ceiling, then did her signature spin dash into its back, thrusting it down and impaling the monster. As its form vanished, so did the goo holding her friends in place.
